First I should mention this is specifically relating to indoor grow techniques and indoor equipment/media but feel free to give your input on outdoor if you so choose I planned years ago to start a grow and at the time was thinking a budget of $500-1000 would be interesting/fun to draw up but I planned on doing the lazy and uninformed Tek which was the classic default Ebay hydroponic setup, from what I've read most people recommended against that for obvious reasons but still fun to think what result you would get from such a kit. Hey everybody, firstly i'd like to say hello to everybody, I been a stalker of this site for a while, finally started my own grow so thought id sign up to get a helping hand. So, before I start I'll say money is a little restricted at the moment, so my grow setup is somewhat budget yet reasonable. Hey guys I realize this might be an extremely stupid question but i just want to make sure im taking the right steps... i was just wondering what exactly should i put my germinated seed into? a small seedling pot/cup or just shove it into a main pot? Also what mix should i have for both of these pots if needed? Please let me know if any of these ingredients i purchased will or will not work and the steps i should take from seed to seedling! thank you for your guys time! PS: Im growing outdoor auto

Just wondering if anyone picks growing tips and quick dries some for a sampling during their grow. I can swear I read this Mel Frank Ed Rosenthal book where it advised actually using the growing tips as your grow progressed. I personally remember growing tips off a wild sativa in the 90s that was microwave dried absolutley blowing my socks off. Anyone do this to assess potency to pick a clone mother etc?

I have been reading into this gas lantern routine. Not too many backing for it but the people that do are pretty preachy on how awesome it is. So it kinda tricks the plant into thinking it's in flower by having 12 hours light but in the 12 hours dark you add an hours light halfway to "wake" the plant back up and stop promoting flowering. So 5.5hrs off / 1hr on / 5.5hrs off. This is also a method people use to find out sex without flipping completely. There's other positives I have read but can't think of ATM. New to the forum so sorry if this is a commonly asked question. I have a feminised auto Amnesia Haze in a 25 gallon pot outdoors, at the 4th node i topped the main stem which split in to two branches. Roughly two weeks later I've topped those two branches and 2 other branches that came from the 2nd node. Not sure what is happening but since i topped those branches mentioned they started to form new branches (1cm) but about 1 week ago all growth has stopped. I heard autoflowers shouldn't be topped near flowering because the main structure/new growth of the plant stops growing once it flowers and just focuses on buds, however there aren't even any pistils showing yet. Hello can anyone helo me with some stiff to add to my organic soil?? I have a 10kg bag and also some perlite and peat moss.. but.. What else is good to add?
