absolutely you can make your own

As Allan , in that vid , who is the inventor of grokashi , said

Make it yourself or if your unable to make it , he's happy to make it for you

if you look up making bokashi , it's the same thing with a few extra ingredients

the first time you lift the plastic shower cap / mulch cover to reveal a white bacterial mycelium mat is quite something

Well said Itchy

Everyone new to this and anything else ....just have a go..... you learn as you grow

And the possibilities no matter what you choose are endless

yep , love me a good test plant to learn on

nah bloody missed it. do u use one cardrona?

make one sooty

i've seen them made with 2 20lt buckets

drilled holes in the bottom of the top bucket

sit it inside the second bucket that you add a

drain tap too at the bottom , & you have a bokashi bin

prob doesn't need to be that big but you do need a tight

fitting lid

as far as bokashi grain/bran go's you can def make

it yourself but if your going to buy bokashi , " i think " it's

Bokashi One brand that is organic ,

i say that cos you can pretty much make bokashi out of anything or any waste

sawdust , news papper ( more DIY this one ) , spent brewing grains

rice hulls , wheat bran , next time your in bunnings have a look at the Maze bokashi

see if you can recognize the mix of stuff they have in there

yeah i have similar as well

they call them worm towers

just a big bit of PVC pipe with some holes in it buried

with a bit sticking out the top with a lid

i've seen guys use a bucket with lid & handle

you can fill the bucket with compost materials

put the lid on , bury it & in a few months time

use the handle to pull the bucket out , rip the lid

off & distribute the castings round the garden
