This is the second packet of seeds I got of the San Pedro, the difficulty in germinating these things compared to MJ is IMMENSE... Anyway, finally got one up and doing well in rockwool, I have another 15 seeds waiting to sprout, 9 of which look to be doing something. (7 ungerminated Trichocerus Panachoi, and 8 ungerminated Loph Williamsii still to go). 1" rockwool cube shown in these pics.

Hey all, Duno if this board is dead or not? But i was after some help, i wish to grow an active cactus (pedro, or peyote etc) and am after some comments on which is better an experience, etc. I understand that it takes like 10-15 years for a Peyote to be fully mature? but cuttings can be taken and grown after that to have as many as ya wish as long as you put the time and effort in right? http://www.shaman-australis.com.au has Lophophora (peyote) seeds, I want to be in this for the LONG haul, because of the spiritual side of it, so any opinions about which strain/variety to get would be awesome, or if anyone knows about obtaining cuttings etc that would be really helpful…

Hey, I am planning to build a large terrarium for some thick tailed gecko's and would like some cacti/suculents for there new home. the space will be 400mm X 1200mm, CF lighting, low humidity and kept around 26deg. They will be used as ornaments, but if possible I wouldnt mind having an "active" one in there. Any suggestions?

Ok well this is a trial form that we would like to make perminent if it goes well , it is something I have been interested in a long time. My initial love for plants came from my garden not my MJ plan, Both I and Oz agree that this section can be beneficial not only for the hobbyist but also those of you interested in Plant medicine, There are just a few rules that need to be followed : • No spamming ( if you have a product to sell register with us ) • No discussion of preparation or extraction methods of plants or succulents ( medicinal plants excepted ) • Use your best judgment before posting • You may request LEGAL seeds/cuttings of plants but only in th…

I was wondering what the shelf life of peyote seeds are ? I got some seeds from amsterdam in 2003 tryed germination back then using what i thought was a good method for cactus seeds , ie putting them in the medium and covering with glad wrap , once sprouted poke some holes etc but didnt work ?( this methods worked for other cacti that ive sprouted ) So i have the other half of the seeds probably about 10 ready to try again , but im thinking shelf life might be a prob ? Any ideas also is it possible to get peyote in oz ? Thanx in advance :smoke

Hello everyone I have a San pedro cacti and have cut an 8" length of it and stuck it in my freezer until further preparation. Anyone on here experimented with pyschoactive cacti before, mainly san pedro? What methods of preparation did you use? How much did you use and was it fresh or dry? What effects did you encounter? I have heard freezing it then putting it through a fruit juicer (the electric type, not dodgy orange juicer ones) then drinking the juice works well? I have already looked at Erowid.com and there are about 4 different ways on there to prepare it then I find another site which says all those ways dont work and take away potency and to juice the c…

G'day, I was hoping someone would please be able to identify these two cacti for me (links to pics below). I think they are the same type. I thought they might be Trichocereus peruvianus (Peruvian Torch), but they only have 5 ribs. Any help in IDing is much appreciated. Cheers. Hey Guys, Need some advice from our Cacti gardeners.... I bought the following from Shaman-Australis: 1 x Lophophora diffusa Seed Packet 1 x Lophophora williamsii Seed Packet 1 x Trichocereus pachanoi Seed Packet 1 x Pereskiopsis sp. - Plant Now, to germinate the various seeds, I was planning on putting them into a perlite/propogation sand medium and just watering them in. I have a few questions that need to be answered.... 1 - What do Cacti feed on? Regular nutes? Can I give them slow-release organic ferts? 2 - Will the Perlite/Propagation sand be ok to germinate the seeds? 3 - Do the seeds require any type of perperation? (Scarification maybe?). 4 - After t…
