Hey guys, So after a last minute, unplanned, shambles of a first attempt grow last year I'm trying again this year but actually putting some thought in to it. Gonna be growing some Critical Purple autos outdoors. I've been looking into propagation grow lights and have read a couple of articles that say lighting at 6000-6500k works best. All the lighting kits I've found close to me have been full spectrum. So I thought, using one or two tri colour LED downlights and setting them to 6500k, fit them to a clear plastic storage tub and starting my little guys in there before moving them outdoors. First off let me introduce myself, based in Nsw and never properly had a good big harvest but learning a lot from all of you, I’ve been using this app for about six months without posting anything but in my last grow I’ve had nutrient issues and pest issues that was cleared up by some pablos answers in other threads, I have looked for answers to my questions in other threads couldnt find shit, I grew early in a small pot and got a female to flower only a little girl but crossed her with some seed I paid stupid money for from a Seedbank (MiLF auto or some bullshit) anyway I collected heaps of seeds off the girl but none of them are germinating! Hey everyone! This is my first grow and I’m really struggling. I have a 80x80x160 grow tent. Hlg 260. 4 inch outake and intake fan Oscillating fan The temp is between 25 - 30 and the humidity is around 50% What have I done wrong and what is happening to my plants? It's been cloudy and raining quite frequently around here lately and my plants are on an inch or two tall, still only got their first two leaves and about to drop their cotyledons. They seem to be growing slower than normal though. The sun will eventually come out regularly and it will hot as f**k but what I've decided to do is buy a couple of 130W CFLs and cupboard them with reflective film during the dark hours and put them on the balcony in the sun during the day. I reckon with some LST I could get away with this for around 2 months, maybe a bit longer. By then it will be the start of Summer and we all know how hot it gets by then. Are there any downsides to this…

Can you grow more weight per sqm from your grow space using seeds over clones? I have 2 tents. One 0.8 X 0.8 X 1.6, I can use this either for a mother or for raising them from seed. The other tent 1.2 X 1.2 X 2 will be the flower tent. My thinking is that I can plant the seeds in the small tent and bring them up to say 4 weeks. Then move into the flower tent and harvest after another 8-10 weeks. If I go with clones will the clones take more time to get to harvest than the 4 week old plants? I'm setting up a type of flood and drain. It's a plastic kiddies pool (flood tray) and I'm not intending to drill holes in it if I can avoid it. From the heart I'll have water going in via a pump and then an aquarium pump to pump out of the kiddies pool. I'm in all perlite 3gal fabric pots. I'll flood 6 to 8 times a day. On draining the kiddies pool, there will be about 2 or 3cm of water that the pump won't suck up. The fabric pots will be sitting in this 3cm of water at all times. That 3cm will be exposed to my hps light. I know there are better solutions (drilling a hole etc) but with the current setup would it be a problem? I'm leaning towards no as the water gets ref…

Yup, sorry!! First post on a great community forum. Grown on and off over the years, bag seed, outdoors, indoors with a 400HPS in the roof etc etc. It was always guerrilla style, because of my then young kids being at home and me not wanting them to be aware, so in the roof in the middle of the night when everyones asleep, did just the basics and always did ok ( always pottered in the garden over many years, green thumbs, which gave me a good foundation). Hey crew I had a quick search on these forums but the keyword rhizotonic comes up in a loooot of posts so apologies for repeating a question that’s probably been asked a tonne of times I’m about to take some more cuttings and put them in my aerocloner . Was wondering if anyone has used seasol for this ? $10 for a litre vs $80-$90 with rhizo .. I have not put this as a glog becuase i know i will end up losing interest.So reason for this is the number of phenos produced by pineapple chunk has made alot of haters for this strain.Now i currently have mine 3 days into 12/12.Before this plannt starts to bud i can see the pheno and know that im in for an excitng grow.Give me 90 days from this post and i will show you all why i think this strain kicks it.Keep in mind if they did not have a stable strain i would not know how this grows and what it will produce.My lights are of at moment but i will post some pics.Leaf doesnt excite me (or anyone) but this strain does so i will do pics of plants as they progress.I should …

Hey guys. I just received Afghani #1 seeds and excited to start my first hydro grow. These seeds are regular, not feminized. Should I just stick them straight into my perlite/verm mix and soak with pH adjusted water? Or should I germinate them first with wet paper towel or other method? Should I germinate just 4 seeds for now or germinate all 10? Anything else I should be aware of for starters? FYI, I have grown before about 10 years ago in soil (first time hydro) so I understand a small bit about growing but I just want to make sure so I don't mess this up.
