Hi all, I am back again this season for another grow. I am now in a prime location for growing in my back yard, this babies are going to go wild!!! I'm growing a unknown strain, however we have done this one outdoors before as well as under lights and it is a top notch strain, very potent, sativa dominant. I have 5 plants growing at the moment, all will hopefully be girls, every seed we have cracked of this strain has been a girl so i am hoping for the best. Going to let one of them just do it's thing and with the other 4 i will be doing various tie down, topping, super cropping methods, just play around really. Bit of a late start to the season up here but the…

Pics of a mobile vertical scrog I did last year. 1 plant in a 50 litre tub trained flat against a 50mm square mesh screen. Its on castors and I just move it around to get the best sun and also hide it away if I need to. The screen is actually an old shop display thingy for hanging accessories on. It didn't get as big as the 50l tub could have allowed due to it being repotted from a 25L tub late January just before flowering commenced. Ended up yielding 8oz dried and trimmed. Pics are at about 4 weeks flowering, it went to 10 weeks (early April) and had some nice chunky heads hanging off it but I must have deleted the pics

Gday All, Jadcla here with a proper grow journal hope u all enjoy, sit back and enjoy the show Seed Planted - 10/09/2014 Seed emerged from soil - 15/09/2014 Soil - Just normal stuff (should have perlite but didn't bother with this run) Pot - 15L Black pot Nutes - None for now but moving onto canna veg when the time comes and then canna flower. So today the seedling is on day 10... to me it looks as though it may be a little stunted and also the leaves look a little "dry"... Oppinions? I believe this a) may be from low humidity or the black pot is soaking up the heat and making the roots hot? oppinions much appreciated! I have also put a pillow case around the…

Cracked in paper towel then transferred to seed raising mix in tubes. A nice hairy trifoliate (or whatever they're called). One with red leaves. They usually turn to green when they start like this so it will be interesting to see how it goes. There are some others with a bit of a reddish tinge but this is the only one that is this red. I plan to grow some autos outdoors in 5 gallon fabric air pruning bags once it warms up a bit. After months of reading about organics I have just mixed up a batch of fully organic soiless mix which I will now leave to cook for a couple of months. This should be a water only mix and need no extra nutrients for the grow. I mixed 40 litres which is what I require for two 5 gallon pots. 4 parts (16 litres) Coco Peat 3 parts (12 litres) Earthworm Castings 2 parts ( 8 litres) Spongolite 1 part (4 litres) Zeolite - I used the sand form instead of the gravel form 1 cup Dolomite Lime 1 cup Neutrog Rocket Fuel 1/2 cup Powdered Kelp Flour 1/2 cup Diametaceous Earth I mixed it …

For those who have grown some of the southern star seed varieties, how did they yield outdoors? As expected, more or less? If you had to choose one variety to grow late in the season which one would you chose if high yield was your main goal? Im planning on planting start of december and im not sure what strain to go with... due to late start yield is going to be down so i figured i would want something that will grow fast and flower big.... Any help from people with experience with sss would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

As I have said before, I haven't grown for 20 years, but I have a few good seasons experience, just growing selected bagseed. This year I want to do a organic outdoor grow, I have a bunch of regular seeds ( not feminised). I use to just pull and burn my boys as they showed, but It takes time, effort and space to grow the boys till they sex naturally. I have less energy, space and I don't want double up plant numbers if I don't have to. I would like to harvest some pollen however. So I've been searching and goggling and cant find help, so I will ask here. My idea is to germinate, then into jiffy pots ( as before). I used to plant straight into prepared hole, but if…

Hey guys, I've got a couple of autos growing in pots outside, they have been flowering for a week now. Both pretty happy, but one of them isn't as big as the other, and looking at the drain holes I think it's because it's become rootbound. The other one is in a much bigger pot. Should I repot the smaller root bound one or should I just leave it alone and avoid any issues from interfering with it this late into its life? They are both the same strain, I'm guessing I will get half the yield from the smaller one than the bigger one is how much it is being affected by too small a pot.

Hey all, but of a potential dilemma here. Got a couple of plants going well, they are outside in full sun all day, one was under lights until about 4 weeks ago the other was started outside and kept out. They are looking happy and healthy, but noticed a couple of white hairs this morning. Now they look like they are certainly in flower. Both are white widow x big bud. I was hoping the one that came out from under lights wouldn't flick over to flower and it didn't, so perplexed now. What on earth is going on?? I did repot them 2 days ago, and the bigger one has rewarded me with a good 3 inches of new growth in the couple of days since. I was expecting a tree by the time it…

Hello guys, Been checking out this site for a while now..and I thought it time I join the ranks. So Bonza Seeds delivered my goods yesterday, super impressed btw. With the package being concealed ( I almost thought I'd been sent the wrong stuff) anyway, I'm starting my first grow and I'm really excited. To grow something from start to finish whist knowing that someone isn't adding ridiculous chemicals to boost their profit is really what it's about for me. 2 X's Hollands hope (auto) 1 x supersonic crystal storm (auto) Both of the above I am planting now. The ones below are seeds I have, but I'm not planting them until I get more experience because I honestly don…

(theres only 3/4 preflowers max each plants)?? or what …

Hi guys well ive pretty much narrowed it down to this years grow... I do pretty much a plant a year to ease my anxietys and crippling pain and about to try my mother on some because of her crippling MS. I like my skunks.... Ive grown Dutch passion Mazar for a few years but the yield isnt that great to be honest and she is acceptable to mould. Some powerful smoko .... Every year sydneys summer seems to stuff up with this bloody rain and I loose my plant! Ive come down to two searches. So its going to be Early Skunk or Big Bud x Northern Lights. Im a little bit worried what skunk might smell like when she is in flower, as the plant will be growing right next door t…
