I do wonder whether time is the only factor ?

 

Our weather here on the eastern sea board is so different each year, storms, record highs, floods, dry spells etc.

 

Could it not just be luck of the draw with when you planted them ? Im beginning to think a staged germination over the period of say 4 weeks could be beneficial. I.e germinating a couple of seeds every other day over a month as opposed to all at once ?

 

I am high though, so disregard if i make little sense

It has been a bizarre couple of years on the east coast billy.  Our patterns have gone crazy here, bi annual flooding to tornadoes man.  I am really trying to get outside with my growing more and am finding in hugely difficult-30 kph nth'lies then 3 inches of rain in half an hour and the poor things carn't take it.  I think the temps are going great where I am atm, just freaking howling wind...waaay more than when I first came down here 10 or so yrs ago.  I'm with you on the staggered germinatioon and its fun too if ya have the room and the seed.  Week, 10 days apart.  If I get any no-shows I'm set, but I think I will pay more attention to the actual growth patterns of  the different germination times of each particular plant.  If I coulds only get outta that wind! Nice stoned post billy...got me thinkin and thats a good thing.  all the best for the rest and following with itnterest.
