Hello every1,How to dry harvest?Im going to hang in a dark room but wondering if i can run a heater/Fan/Outlet/Carbonfilted when drying to keep temps up as cold this time of the year?How long should i flush perlite for b4 harvest if using 14 litre medium size pots/Ph adjusted rain water/Handwatering system i was thinking between 5-7 days?Thanks

heya ppl, just chopped a "test" branch a week early (harvest will be next week) i have hung it to dry in a wardrobe tied upside down. have a few questions.. should i trim/remove fan leaves and the other leaves and should i separate the buds off the stem and dry them seperately? or just leave it all together? the branch weighed about 20grams, say the stem is about 4 grams.. i should get about 1/4 oz dry bud? is that right? cheers ppl

now dont get me wrong, any quick drying without a cure make a bud almost dogshit but if u need an indication of ur crops strength or u were just given/bought weed gear here is a nice way to dry it out... get a pot of boiling water using a clear plate as a lid ( i use glass cuz u can see when the water is about to boil over, etc) keep the temp down to make sure the plate is hot but water doesnt touch bottom of plate and put gear on plate.... turning every minute or so u will notice any leaf curling up and becoming very brittle...if u can break this leaf off and lay it flat on the plate and rest the buds on the leaf...this will give a bit more added protection to the re…

Well guys, I have harvested my crop and dried it by hanging from a line in a cool dark place. Drying took 5 days. I have now bagged it up in sanwich bags (28gms in each/oz). I have read to keep it in the fridge or freezer. Wouldnt the freezer create ice crystals from the bit of moisture left? If so, the pot could be soggy. So far I have it stored in a drawer but want it out of the house. There is a fridge in the garage where I grew it. What do you rekon I should do. Since I dont smoke it, I cant really be bothered going thru the long drawn out procedure of curing it. I should try a small ammount and see what it is like. I enjoyed my smoke but unfortunately too manmt…

can the natchy taste from outside plants be cured long enough so it tastes good ? or how bout adding some orange peel or something to the cureing, ? the plants are in soil/perlite/potting mix, all are outdoors and were started indoors unders cf's, there almost ready i took a bud a few weeks ago cured it a week and a bit and its was pretty nice only a slight natchy taste,, so longer cure should do it ? peace Hout SoDry..

gudday all. I'm coming to end with some of my babies and i was wondering what's the best way to store ya weed outdoors. Last season I stored it indoors, but we have had quite a few raids in the area lately and the parranoia is starting to set in. I'm on the land with 100's of acres of bush around me, and was thinking of putting it in an air tight bucket and burying it. would this work o.k?
