G'day all Did a search, and couldn't find any info on trimmers, so did a bit of research. Looks like the most popular choice for most growers worldwide is the Fiskars 9921 Softouch Micro-Tip Pruning. It's had plenty of good reviews on most other canna forums, and seem to be very reliable, extremely comfortable to use, and keep a good edge. I just ordered a pair from Amazon (they're on special at the moment). They were AUD$18.90 including postage. Bunnings sell them for double that price. Get onto them! http://www.amazon.com/Fiskars-9921-Softouch-Micro-Tip-Pruning/dp/B00004SD76/ref=sr_1_1?s=home-garden&ie=UTF8&qid=1319363613&sr=1-1 http://fis…

Hey everybody.. I've got a few questions in mind.. Firstly, i've read multiple writings that when you smoke buds and they're harsh on the throat, its usually because it hasn't been flushed, otherwise they're too dry. 2.depending on the nutes used, if one is to use flower enhancing chemicals to make the buds bigger and more dense, if you flush before harvesting, will they decrease in size because the enhancer is no longer in the plant? I know to some this might sound stupid, but it's been playing with my mind lately..

How do I know when is the right time for harvest, to get more weight, not quality. When all heads fall down? Or is it okej to tie them up with something, and keep them alive for another week or two?

Hey all This contraption has caught my eye lately and got me wondering if its any good. Ive googled a few times in the last weeks and havent been able too find many decent reviews on it. The info out there seems a little scant There are a couple of vids on youtube from which I'm surmising that theyre fairy handy for larger , longer buds which does make it tempting and Im already use a spinpro type trimmer for smaller and rounder shaped buds which does a great job. So anyone taken the plunge on these yet? Give us the pros, cons, cercumstances where you would and wouldn't use them... Do they suit certain types and shapes of buds better than others? Will th…

Been getting some medicine lately that is quite fowl, pretty sure its the source of my head aches too. I'm a long way off from supplying myself and dont often have choice when it comes to supply. So i was hoping this oz would be different but alas its the same. It seems to me this has definately been fed right up to picking and it sure shows! Not that I'd know but what else.. Which led me to think what about water curing.. I put 5 g submerged in water to try it out. They recommend 6 days in a dark spot changing the water daily. And then dehydrator till almost dry on low heat. But thats fresh buds. Mine are already dryed.. I'm not sure whether I need to use the ful…

Started harvesting my big plant today, only took a couple snippets here and there. Still not 100% if its ready, hairs are mostly amber/brown but trichs still look mostly clear/milky with only a few amber ones. They got abit moldy while i was away but managed to just chop most of it out. Peace F D L

http://i1091.photobucket.com/albums/i393/enzolorenzo/005-Copy.jpg Sorry for the crappy photo, the sun is not out again and my camera needs a lot of light for high quality macro shots. Question: I am looking at pulling one full plant out at absoutely peak time "for using as putting me to sleep only purposes". Should i allow the pistils to go completely brown, or inbetween what the photo is showing? Many thanks in advance...

G day all, after successfully harvesting my plants i tried drying them in my garden shed, although they have dried too quickly and have now gone a little dry and crumbly and don't have any smell or odor, so I'm thinking about experimenting a little with them and trying to flavour them with fruit peels and hopefully they will taste OK and bring back some of the moisture and aromas back to them, any ideas on how to go about this. cheers !!!

/hey I can't belive I'm stillregistered here! Anyhow, I have a couple of outdoors I'm about to pull, and I've been trying to cure a couple of buds so I get it right. When I do though, they smeel really crap. I have been hanging them in my shed for about a week (the first bud was small so I should have done it less) until the stem is just about to break, then jaring them. I am giving them some air once a day. Will the nice smell come in the jar process? I took all the shade leaf off and trimed at the start. The shed has interior walls, and there are two windows that let air through. It is not pitch black but it is dark. I ahve no idea how to check the humidity. W…
