Hey guys been a long time since I've done this and I have a 1.5m x 1.5m tent I want to give leds a go. Anyone know if the viparspectra lights are any good for a cheap light I am thinking of getting 2 x 1000w viparspectra lights but unsure how much light I really need in there.

Stupid question but does the bottom of your pot need to be higher than the top of your waste catchment container? So with my pots on foam blocks the drain hole is still slightly lower than the top of my drain catchment, I'm assuming the pots will not drain if this is the case correct? I'm thinking I Might Have to put some holes in the side of the container to put the hoses through so its lower.

Hey im curious to how you would position 3 plants for a scrog in a 5 x 5 tent? I was going to do 4 wich would have been easy set them up in a square, but one of the clones didn't make the trip home so now im going to do 3. I feel if I did a triangle the side with only 1 plant would fill the screen evenly

I am doing my first grow in about 15 years (got the go ahead from the other half) - a lot has changed!! I will be using a RDWC system in a 4 X 4 grow tent under a spiderfarmer 4000. I used to use CANNA nutes but am wondering if anyone has any other suggestions for nutes? It's been a bloody long time and am quite excited to get back into it again!!

My plants have just started flowering. I discovered 1 was male so I've chucked him outside well away from the others for the time being. Funnily enough he looks to be LOVING it outdoors with the leaves reaching for the sky. My girls are still going ok but not like old mate in the pure sunshine. So, is it wise to move my girls outdoors (obviously not near my horny boy) or should I leave them indoors as they are?

Hi guys My dog got into my side yard and stripped my plants, not sure if they will grow back, or should I pull them and start again. Hi all, this is my first grow and I've come across a ball (kind of flat though) on one of my plants. Just thought I'd ask here as someone with experience might be able to tell me if it is or isn't a hermaphrodite. And if it is, do I just cut the ball off and it should be good to keep growing? Cheers

What size tent do you think would be a minimum to grow? I know there are lots of considerations to make with which types/sizes you are looking at growing and the number of plants. I am looking between a 1.6 H x .8 x.8 or a 2 H x 1 x 1, trying to stay small tent wise due to cost and space restrictions. Currently got autos but I would like to down the track play with photos. Looking at the gardis pro tents, they seem good bang for buck.

Does anyone have any tips on doing a gorilla grow? Thinking about doing a couple gorilla grows this year. Going to start with a few Autos before its too hot and then try some fem beans. Hey friends, So i threw in some (what i think are) og kush seeds in some coco and now i have 3 plants which are 4 weeks old. The thing is im not sure if the strain was autoflower and they’re looking pretty leafy at 4 weeks. Was wondering whether i should just switch lighting by week 5 judging by the size of the plants? Or just ride it out till 6-7 weeks, then switch if no flower. Is there a definite period in which non auto lighting should be switched by?
