the cutting has shown signs of growth since yesterday but today when i checked on the cuttings this 1 had a root coming out the base of the plant where the stem is and then went back down at the corner of the cube never seen anything like that, is it normal or just a freak of nature that im gonna have to keep an eye on as it now has an exposed root system?

I have 6 medical MJ seeds I want to start before I do my good seeds, This way I will learn more before I get to the expensive seeds. I will be using 8" pots with soil to do this, under a 75w hps, and 75w mh. and 2 shop lites 2 bulbs each. room stays at 72-78, RH 50-55. If you need more info let me know. I want to sex them as soon as posible, then transplant the females and go from there. Thanks anyone. :whistling

g'day all been trying to find a soultion to increase humidty in a grow room that has a/c running, as the a/c sucks out the water in the air, causing the humidy to drop below 40RH, I like to maintain it at 70RH. - less stress on plants dont want to use steam dont want to use ultra-sonics but found a really good ozzie company www.condair.com.au - that uses high pressure water jets technology that looks very interesting. check out there products - they look really good, they even have really good control gear to automate the process. hey im just wondering what would be the best kind of power board to use when growing in a wardrobe using a 400watt hps and 2 fans??? hasnt over loaded or anything yet, but im just concerned when it comes to storms :thumbdown for example, today it started hailing out of the blue, melted in 5 mins and stopped raining in 20 but there was a fair bit of thunder and lightning going which worried me....is easy to blow globes and start fires if your not carefull :thumbdown basically what im after is a power board that when its over loaded with power, shuts off for like 15 mins and has the ability to kill the connection before any damage can be done.....is that even possib…

Hi All, I am a first time grower & poster.....great site btw. I want to do an indoor grow in soil and try and keep it as "organic" as possible. I am thinking of getting a 400w Sontagrow, growing in my garage & have a few questions: 1. Light: from what I can see this is a good light to use for both veg & flowering....is this true? 2. What is the ideal area/number of plants that can be grown under this light? 3. Ventalation: is it enough if i recycle air to the grow room from the air in the garage or do I need some intake from outside? 4. HI ALL: I forgot to ask about the ph of perlite vermiculite 60-40 mix, im in 24 qt. sq.pots, do I use soil or hydro ph. levels? And when do I start to feed them and about what strength, I thought 400-500 would be a good start for the first week. They are under 400w mh. room temp 73-80 RH 48-55, the plants are Snow white, and Crystalberry. I really need these to go as they will be my mothers. and btw. im using seed grow. hy! i'm an outdoor gardener and just want to try the fun of growing indoor. please, anybody who has grown indoor on bio and SOG, what yield can i expect under good (good, not great) conditions with good strains like BB or NL?( grammspersquarefoot ) (because on some sites, i see up to 125 gr and on other sites i see 500 gr per 1 sqf for the same strain) thanks
