General Cultivation Q&A

Any one use it I normaly use rock juice .But I have purchased Super Bud this time the shop where I got it told me I could use it at 1/4 strength by diluting it with distilled water and still get the same results. I have also noticed with the R/Juice I only get heads on the very top has any one else had this problem? Also I am out of ph probe cleaning solution does anyone know of any easily accessable substance I could use .(I am 60 kliks from the local hydro shop.)

Any thoughts on this item, ? ebay ph meter Ive been useing the liquid ph kit for ever and Im about to rebuild my set up, thought maybe its time to update some of my gear

Just something I thought would be interesting to do, and potentially informative to the uninformed (me)... If you had a $300 budget specifically for a hydro setup in which you wanted to grow only 1-2 plants at any given time, a system that you could keep indoors, with decent ventillation as part of the package...what would you do? Would this be a start, just enough, more than enough, what? I invite you to discuss any ideas, even draw something up...who knows, if your shits good enough, might even commission you to make one for me.

I know this is abit like asking "How long is a piece of string". But I'm going to ask anyway. Can some one give me some idea of the yield I could expect to get from 12 plants under 3 600watt HPS lights if I turn them to flower at 20" (finish approx 40"). I'm growing in 3 gallon pots with Coco and Coco A+B nutes with PK13/14 and liqued lead. The strains are 4 x Northern Lights/Bigbud, 4 Purple Power, 4 White Widows. I'm growing from clones. The seeds came from Amsterdam so I think they have good genetics.

My hydro-shop gave me a copy of the DVD "Canna Cocoponics" when I was there the other day and this coco stuff looks pretty good :smoke I was wondering how many of you have had experience with it and if you have used it as a mix with soil or similiar or even used it as 100% of your medium :scratchin

i have a weed plant 4nhalf week into budding n i woke up 2day went into my grow room and th hairs on th top bud was brown does this mean its almost ready to harvest ? if it is i wont get a lot off it

Hi there I got 10 bubbleberry seeds grwoing outdoors and all have just sprouted Anyway, i dont want to keep the whole 10........ Whats the ealiest you can make an educated guess about the sex of the plants ? I dont want to wait until i can see male flowers etc ? i was reading that males are usually taller and have thicker stems in the early veg stage ? has anyone got any others tips like that ? just want some tips to help me try and sex them before they actually start showing flowers.......... cheers JAS

I was going to do a scrog but am trying this instead . Will it increase my yield by letting light to the lower buds? iam growing a few out door plants i was wondering what are the best forms of nutrients to give to yor plants and what else you should give them

Hi all, I went shopping and picked up 100ml of "Nitrozyme" ($10.00) What I had planned is to use it on my AK clones which I just took I also read that it can be used as a folier spray in veg ??? Also noted they said on the lable some stronger more concentrated formula exist and to ask ma "supplyer". Has anyone any comments on this "more concentrated formula"? Anyone use it ? How did it go.. . . ... .. .. . & do you know if it generally good for like it says providing increased cellular development ect? a real technical blab's encouraged.
