what nutrients should you give your plants

Recommended Posts

The 3 key ones all the way through growth are nitrogen (N) ,potassium ( K) , and Phosphorous ( P)

then there are seccondary nutrients it needs the main secconddary nutes are , Sulfur , Magnesium , Calsium, Iron, Boron , Zinc .

IF you get a nutrient made for tomatoes your pretty much sweet , just use less than the sugested dosage as tomatoes can handel and do get given much higher nutrient levels,

The best thing you could do for them though is go to a hyrdo shop and buy some nutrients made for soil , ( canna terra ) for example that will ahve the balance you need and you won't have to worry about if you chose the right one

hey valleygirl,

yeah what pure said ..... have a look in the garden shop... MJ and tomatoes are very similar.... how ever roses and MJ are exactly the same..... so any rose food would be good. I would also suggest some osmocote slow release fertilizer as well, just a little sprinkled on the top around the plant...... if you are unsure then ask your local nursary guy.. or girl about roses.... they will definately give some good advice......

good soil preperation is a must too.... some good compost... and good drainage....
