I want to have a small hydro setup just for 1 or 2 plants max 3 and i was planning to have it in a pretty small space probably about 1.5m tall and 1.5m wide. And I need to know: 1. What's the best light cycle to have, how many hours should the light be on a day? 2. What's the best light I can use, I would prefer to use the one that uses less power but if that increases cost to much I wont bother? 3. Do you need different formulas or can i just use this one fertilizer that is high in nitrogen and my outdoor plants love? 4. Do I need separate grow and flowering rooms? 5. How much does it cost? And if you guys can think of any other useful information that would be gr…

Hi, first post here... Ive not grown before but got some seeds recently and planted them into seed raising mix. one of these has come up as a tricot. Does this mean the plant will be special in some way or does it not matter? Would like to know if I ought to give it extra attention thanx and peace.

Hey everybody! This is my first post here (I'm more of a lurker) and I would like some advice on my adventure of building a successful grow box! Initially I was thinking of doing the 'stealth pc case' although was not that impressed with some of the results and hear mixed reviews on grows. I decided to use a larger box that will fit in the wardrobe. The dimensions of said box are 435mm deep, 465mm wide and 1550mm high. I have included a picture to help illustrate. Ive got mates that swear by de leafing when into bud to let the light penetrate the canopy and ive got others that tell me its a huge no no. They all have quite different setups - so hard to tell based on yield who actually knows what their talking about. What are peoples thoughts on this and has anybody run basically the same grow (nutes, lights etc) with leaves and then done the next one removing most of them to compare? If you agree with de-leafing - when is the best time to do it? Any opinions appreciated....

hey guys and girls i need a lil help now i have my pineapple chunk seedling and its first leaves are round and not pointed at all unlike my lsd i havent cracked alot of seeds in my growing years manily stuck to clones but iv never seen this does this mean im wasting my time with a mutunt or will it be fine? any help would be great

Has anyone tried this? I have a worm farm and I basically pour water Over the top wait a few days and collect the water And pour it on my chillies and tomatoes. My chillies are in flower and besides to potassium of potash which I added two weeks ago is the only food I've given them and this chilli has more flowers than I've ever seen. So I'm going to attempt just as a experiment a no other nutes other than seaweed worm juice and potassium and see where it takes me, I would not have to worry about a flush as there would be no salt buildups and judging by my chillies it should work beautifully. Any advice or experience from others would be fantastic.

Hi all I got a question................. I have 5 plants in my wardrobe flowering about 11 days now there are 4 females and 1 male I want to grow seed this time so I kept the male.. What I want to know is how can I tell when the male has done his job and polinated the females so I can pull him out to make more room for the females is there something I should look out for? or give it so many weeks then trash him he is covered in male flowers balls everywhere will he change colour after he has don the business? could someone answer this.....as I want him out asap so there is more room for the girls thanks

Hey everyone, I'm going to start growing my own very shortly, I haven't grown before and I'm curious as to which strains grow well together? I'm guessing you would preferably want plants with similar flowering time/yeilds, is this a correct assumption? Also any tips to do with seeds would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone!
