Clones from flowering plant?

I too thought cloning from a plant which was already flowering was a no no.

Is there an advantage to cloning from a plant which has begun to flower?

 

 

you know the sex , so your not cloning males that could be wasted

 

and the plant is bigger with more mass if you want to take lots of clones . helpful if your running small veg times

Good point about knowing the sex.

Could save a lot of time.

Having a larger plant to take many clones from is a good reason too.

ive used clones from flowering plants before. usually tried to clone from younger ones tho.
