Budboy have u previously done a run with that led light? i thought by u going into week 3 with rooted clones u would have been much further along mate, those roots are looking nice but its lacking above surface growth do u think its your light?

is this the light that lady a few weeks back was claiming to own the business? Spider Cob's that's the light?

My mate is using those black 15 litre. few weeks into flowering it looks pretty good.

This is what i made

My tubs $13

Fittings between $3 and $5 + 2m of 50mm pipe attachicon.gif20170824_182608.jpg

$6 Seals i made from roll of rubber in the flooring section. No leaks yet

so hows it coming along mate? no leaks yet? im about to pull the trigger on building my own system, prob gonna go for 10-12 sites gonna try and fill a 10x10 or most likely closer to 8x8 area.

my issue is the bulkheads, i dont want to risk leaks using uniseals, so your saying you just used that rubber for your seals?

i found these bulkheads on amazon that ship here, works out about $6 each so not bad compared to the like $40+ each they want for them in aus.

still gotta figure out what buckets to use.

also your using 40mm pvc? no issues yet? if i can go with 40mm and save me a bit of money would be great.

also im struggling to understand how you go about using netpots with these giant square totes compared to round buckets that you can just drill a hole in the lid. the buckets you have and the ones i've seen at bunnings have retarded shapes and the lids are fucked.

example: https://www.bunnings.com.au/ezy-storage-bunker-35l-heavy-duty-storage-tub_p2583514

how the fuck do you get a netpot in the lid of that thing lol.

@gazza2001au any ideas mate?

Nah no leaks yet. If your using the 2' net pots they fit right in the middle you can use a drill with hole saw

I used 4' What i did is cut the lid with a razor then with a jigsaw cut four holes in piece of plywood i did mine in one piece cause i need it to lift together

Yeah gazz ive done 2 grows with this light one was an auto and the other i had every thing that could go wrong happen. Ive ordered the mars hydro ll 1600 so hopefully ill have better results with it

is the mars II 1600w.. ? or just model number?...how much that set ya back?.

and also..

are they paper plates on top of the net pots?.. and im assuming they are just to stop light penetration to the roots?.. and not holding any real weight or anything?.

interesting lil set up..

im still trting to rig up an auto system.. 2 failed attempts so far.. first thin tubing got blocked up... second cheep crud air pump fricked out an mega slime sludge factory started happening. . managed to save both plants tho.. and they are back in soil pots.

dang dang... onwards and upwards.

No its actual draw is 700w flower footprint is 1.4mx1.4m

And it set me back $850. I also looked at a couple of journal with this light and the resin production looks great. The plates are plastic just for light and it keeps my top feed drippers under them. If you need more info on anything just ask I'll try to help if I can but please feel free to share any thoughts on how I can improve. Thanks
