Yeah those 5 gallon buckets u can use 1-1/2" uni seals for the under current return

Cheers mate yeah I have a vision to fill a 10x10 space so if it can all mostly be got from bunnings I can build it up modular should be awesome

Yeah u can use them but u need a crap load of duct tape to cover them, u can order black 15 litre buckets with lids from Super Cheap Auto for $5 and u don't need to cover them

My mate is using those black 15 litre. few weeks into flowering it looks pretty good.

This is what i made

My tubs $13

Fittings between $3 and $5 + 2m of 50mm pipe

 

$6 Seals i made from roll of rubber in the flooring section. No leaks yet

Thanks daggersstrains definitely will take some extra knowledge from you. i gathered you weren't aussie when i saw the pic you posted of the solar eclipse and you guys talk temps in Fahrenheit and us in °degrees Celsius. Where ever we are in the world we all want the same thing great buds.

Cheers for the details mate. I like the idea of that bigger pvc should mean less clogging with the roots. If i can work this out and get like 16 or 24 in a 10x10 space for under 1k I'll be happy.
