All my previous grows ive ran a 45L res so this time i upgraded to a 80L res and its still a constent battle to keep the ph down , i run a resec system and when adjusting the ph dayley i run the pump for say 30 mins while ajusting ph until its sitting stable on 5.5 then 12 hours later the cunts back to 8

Just ordered my grow tent only a little one 2.4 x 1.4 x 2m should be heaps of space for 4 Dwc buckets to start with

Hi new on here have searched around and still confused. Doing a set up in a 1.4x1.4x2m tent cant find out what size i should go for the watering system. Only looking at the ebay stuff for now until get better n struggling with funds atm. There is a 4x9lt pots system thats 60cmx60cm 72lt resivour Or 5x9lt pot system thats 80cmx80cm 128lt resiour. Need it to be as easy it can be n tryin save money too. Cheers

Hey everyone, can someone share a post or some info regarding the best way to grow a seed from the beginning, i can sprout them no problems but i experience very slow grow, im looking for a better way to grow them. what are the main tricks to growing seedlings? ATM i use a 130W CFL after a week or so under a normal 40watt fluro. i run them at a ph of 6.2 and a nute of approx 1.2ec once they are about 4 weeks old. they dont show no nute burn etc. i run them on a low ec to start with after the first week or so at around 0.3ec entill they get larger then i increase. airflow isnt that great in my seedling room atm, will be updating that soonish.....what else could be the prob…

Hey all, had a problem with root rot with Rez temps getting to high creating root rot, anyway Iv just setup a full RDWC system it will run around 120 litres it's a 4 pot system plus a res. I'm wondering running 150mm inline cerg fans in a 2x2x2 with 4 cmh 315's, one for each plant. Will I be able to keep the temp in the res below 20 with the temps in Victoria ATM? Without a chiller? Planning on getting. A chiller on my next run, I'm just wondering now it's cooled rite down will I get away without chiller in dwc system? Or do I really still need the chiller now? Also the tent is inside a insulated shed so it does warm up over time. Anymore info needed I can Provide..…

hi all, ive been reading up on growing indoors and planning my first grow.got my head wrapped around most of the process but there's a couple of things im still unsure of, so some questions are... #1. ventilation: i have a 6 inch can max fan for my 1mX1mX2m tent, i assume its not needed for small plants but when do i actually need to start running this? (this first grow will be running 600w led and cfl side lighting) i have other circulating fans as well and i understand air movement is a key factor just unsure when to run the larger fan. #2. watering and nutes (coco-perlite run 2 waste) : i have read a lot of people don't feed nutes until 2 or 3 weeks in, but others hav…

im currently using the round ball air stones and they tend to move around alot in the bottom of the pot...looking for a alternative airstone for DWC, whats the best options to go for? i am and plan to keep running for air stones on a 10 valve high pressure air pump, so i have plenty of air, just want to know whats the best air solution for DWC these days? cheers medicalgrower

Omg! I'm so broke! So I had some mars lights and a hydro grow unit, and a tent. I had some nutrients, but not much and no $$ to get more. And a handful of feminised photo seeds and some auto seeds. But I'm broke so I can't even pay elect. Given all this, I decided to have a go. Week 1 - no nutrients, lights 16/8. Week 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 - full nutrients. Week 4 I got paranoid about light pollution so cut lights back to 12/12. Didn't change the nutrients for this 6weeks. Weeks 8, 9, 10 - changed nutes and left lights on 12/12. In week 8, one of my photos turned, so I pulled it. I hope it doesn't affect things too much. No fans or extractors, just 2 small windows.…

hi all, iv been reading all the maxium yeild magizines and in the latest 2017 one they have a big article about Ionic Silver, they say its very very good for plants, it sterilizes your nute tank/water its fights root rot and a assortment of things, it sounds like its a really good product to use. iv just ordered myself a litre for $35 to treat root rot. is anyone else familar with this product?
