The ph battle

All my previous grows ive ran a 45L res so this time i upgraded to a 80L res and its still a constent battle to keep the ph down , i run a resec system and when adjusting the ph dayley i run the pump for say 30 mins while ajusting ph until its sitting stable on 5.5 then 12 hours later the cunts back to 8

I run a recirc system and its the same, each day I have to knock the pH back down

Ummm, yeah, regular adjustments in a recirc res is normal, but I've only experienced jumps of anything close to that amount once, and it turned out to be because I had root rot (pythium) in the system.  Aside from that I've only had it go up maybe 0.5ish over a few days at worst.  The larger res should be helping to keep it more stable, not less, so I'd be looking for a cause.

 

Did you prep your medium properly before starting.  Clay balls for example need a good clean followed by a good soak at PH 5.5 before use, and even then can take a week or so to stabilise.
