Cannabis Grow Rooms

Hi everyone, At the moment I have a MH 1000w UNIVERSAL Sylvinia/Sunmaster globe. I am wondering if this is the right type of bulb to use? I am thinking of purchasing the Sunmaster COOL 1000w globe. Then in time for flowering, have purchased a WARM 1000w globe also. If the bulb I already have won't do the job that is. Could someone explain this situation to me please? EDIT: Should I use the Universal globe for veg and buy a WARM globe for flower maybe?

Hi, Can i use a fluro setup from sprout to bud? or do i need metal halides as well? What would be the right fluro for an all purpose grow if it can be done?

I have MH lighting on several of my aquariums. There is a wide choice of color or spectrum of of light output. Not how much but the color. 65.00 K (kelvin) bulbs put out a yellow wavelenght !0,00K bulbs are more white and 20 k bulbs are blue in color output. I don't see these choices with the MH grow lamps . I think around 65 k bulbs( puts out light in the yellow spectrum )are good for plant growth. All I see is full spectrum bulbs. But these must have some sort of specific color or at least a small range of color output . A bulb putting out light that covers the entire color spectrum, from red/ yellow to white/blue also! is this right? I need t…

Ok I got a sick ass light. It is a horozantal light with a built in ballist. Im using 350wt metal halideIts a hydrofarmer. its on 18/6 If the damn thing would grow I would put it on 12 and 12. Its 19 days old. Im going to go flush it just incase. Thanks guys for all the help. I will post a pic of my light mhen it turns on. Has anyone ever heard of this brand before?

I am contemplating a stealth-grow in a 90cm x 45cm x 20cm server case I have lying around the house, and I was wondering what kind of lighting would suit something that size. I had been thinking about using a 150w HPS but I can't find them anywhere and the next closest one is a 250w which is probably way too much heat in such a small area. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm new to the whoel indoor growing and my seedlings (liek 3") are under an 80ish watt bulb but its not fluoro, i have a compact fluro that doesnt fit into the light, do i have to use it? if its necessary ill merely cut the light fixture open so it will fit but im just curious if i can leave them under the regular house bulb if theyll grow

I have a 4'x4'x7'h room, I have a 1000w hps now with a real noisy ballast. But wondering if I should go with a 600w son t argo instead, would it make that much differance in my yeald. Will be going to shop tomorrow and would like some ans. by then and why you would make the choice you give me. Thanks much.

Hi, about to grow in a 2m x 1m x 1.8m area. Trying to decided whether to go with 2 x 400hps or 2 x 600hps. Would there much of a difference in yield between the two? Growing SOG for the first time(though I've grown bigger plant crops many times). What should I go for?? Also what light would you suggest for keeping mothers in a 3' x 3' area? Obviously I don't want them growing very fast. One last question, how long do most of you keep mothers for?

have got phillips HPI-T PLUS 400 watt conversion bulb...works fine for veg... what are other people using????? why does the price jump so much up 2 to 600???? what would you say is the highesat performing 600w bulb???

i see in the states that people are using 200 wat compact fluoro bulbs. does anybody know if we can get them down under. if not a decent grow shop with an online catalogue for cfl's. thanks grayhairs
