Gday folks will be in the shitty next weekend where there are an abundance of grow shops, just wondering if I should update my shade to a batwing or something that will spread my light better than a cooltube?

Due to my white fly problems with this grow I have a lot of dead ones(they smell like bacon lo) on my HPS bulb. I do have yellow traps out but it is too late to spray. About 2 to 3 weeks to pick I assume the best thing to wipe it clean with would be a brand new lint free cloth. the ones you used to use to clean records and c.d. and camera lenses? Other advice? I'm looking at buying a light to grow some clones and keep a little mother. I cannot ventilate the area so HPS and anything that gives of heat is just not acceptable. LED or get some new fluoro's. A mate gave me his fluoro set up and it's very old, gets very hot on top and sometimes I wonder if I will wake up in…

Just a quick warning against using cheap no name ballasts. Pulled this one apart due to some odd behavior..... Take a look for yourself!

Hi stoners just a quick question. I have a 1.2x1.2x 2m tent 600w cooltube and a 6inch inline fan. I've never had to filter smell but now I'm living in town its kinda a concern as is noise. I'm thinking to get acoustic ducting to run the fan a bit quieter. So I was wondering what's a good carbon filter to buy online? Is the fan big enough in your opinion to do the job? And should I set up as follows starting with filter than acoustic ducting, than cooltube than fan to acoustic ducting out of tent? Thanks

Has anyone heard of a 250w MH dimmable digital ballast? i got one it was meant to be a 400w now i have never seen a 250w in digital and dimmable! i donno if i should even try plugging my lamp into it seems dodgy as fuck

hey all, just wondering are CMH 315w ballast classed as digital ballast? im wondering do they let of a RF interference at all? some sites claim they dont and some claim that they have inbuilt RF blockers, so its a little confusing....not sure! one site said that CMH do not let of RF Interference at all, thats another plus about them they say....is this true? i have a Hi-par 315 CMH and a Nanolux 315 CMH. on the nanoxlux site they dont mention it has no RF blocker etc? so not sure there. also i can not find hi-par mention about the RF interference anyway on there site....but again with the nanolux there got me thinking as they do sell RF blockers.... thanks in advance

Just picked up my first dehumidifier i had no clue as to how they work i thought they ran cool air and some how removed the water from the air, mine is like a small heater, RH was 86% and it is now 69% over around 15mins unsure what to set mine at, i bought it to stop the moldy buds i have encountered in the past it uses quiet a bit of power close to 400watts so i think i may only need it in the last 2 weeks of flower it was under $100 or lose big main colars
