The endocannabinoid system
One place we find cannabinoids very similar to those that marijuana produces is in our bodies. Most animals including humans and other vertebrates produce their own cannabinoids. These endogenous cannabinoids regulate nerve and immune function and many other critical metabolic processes. This is done in part through a unique process called retrograde signaling. The body's endogenous cannabinoids regulate the nerves signaling output. In the early 1990s scientists identified a natural human cannabinoid. It was named anandamide from the Sanskrit word for bliss and is chemically described as n-arachidonoylethanolamide AEA. Since then four other endogenous cannabinoids have b…

Raw cannabis juicing ... and then keeping the leaves for hash?
does anyone do juicing of raw cannabis leaves as per Dr William Courtney? also the other part of the title, if you were to juice the leaves... after juicing would it still be useful to keep the leaves and process to make THC edibles? or to get hash from them? or would that depend on the time they were harvested? (from the used plant material) thanks in advance...

Sourcing Cannabis while travelling full-time on the road
Greetings Peoples, As someone who requires Cannabis (& THC Oil) for Chronic Pain reasons, which has allowed me the experience to travel (previously not thought possible). The problem is sourcing the required materials while on the road full-time. I know places like Nimbin where products are easily able to be sourced, or your home town connections, however, for the rest of the Country, it can be rather difficult to source your medical requirements. The Hemp Embassy posts required oil to anywhere I require.. which is great. Does anyone know of towns in other states that are easier to source the required dried herb products, rather than having to go through approach…

Gotta do without for awhile
Hi all, new poster here. I’ve been using weed to medicate my insomnia for a couple years now, usually just a joint of Skywalker an hour before bed, at least six days a week. I’m traveling out of the country for a couple months and plan to do without medication for the duration. I have a background in psychology, been reading lots of research about marijuana withdrawal syndrome. Based on the research it looks like I’m in for a couple weeks of (and I quote) irritability, anxiety, decreased appetite, restlessness, and sleep difficulties (ugh), but after that I should be out of the woods. Have you been in situations like this before, like having to go without medication for a…

Unsure how to maximise my harvest
Hi all After goggling and reading countless articles and viewing many youtube vids, I'm still unsure that I'll be getting the most from my crop. Although cannabis doesn't alleviate all symptoms of my illness, it 100% works for my chronic severe nausea and inability to sleep due to pain .. nothing, not even the wafers given to chemo patients eased my nausea in the past. I get a few bad headaches and have balance probs due to inflammation in ears .. so am wary of using anything 'too green' like juicing the leaves (as I've read it can cause headaches). That and I've always needed to eat food I really really like as I never have an appetite and forcing down something I d…

Father faces jail for medicating his daughters with cannabis juice
http://www.abc.net.au/news/2018-03-07/father-faces-jail-for-medicating-daughters-with-cannabis-juice/9523898 Royal Australasian College of Physician, Adrian Reynolds, urged caution about making access too easy. "I would not want to see the floodgates being opened before we have much more robust evidence around the benefits, risks and harms associated with the cannabinoids," he told 7.30." "...urged caution about making access TOO EASY!!!!" For Christ sake I doubt they could make it any more difficult or convoluted to gain access. Presently it's easier to obtain 'Hillbilly heroin" (Endone) than it is to get canna legally. So I ask you, whose the criminal, the father…
