MEDICINAL CANNABIS WARNING / DISCLAIMER
There is no pharmacological free lunch in cannabis or any drug. Negative reactions can result. A small percentage of people have negative or allergic reactions to marijuana. Heart patients could have problems, even though cannabis generally relieves stress, dilates the arteries, and in general lowers the diastolic pressure. A small percentage of people get especially high heart rates and anxieties with cannabis. These persons should not use it. Some bronchial asthma sufferers benefit from cannabis; however, for others it may serve as an additional irritant.

Genuinely need help!
Ok so best mates mum has just been diagnosed with motor neuron disease. Lovely lady, mother of 5 and grandmother to almost 30 and great grandma to a few too! Ok so we all know there no cure, but there's been great success in slowing shit down and prolonging life. Yeh sure I can make up some iso, cap it up and feed em to her, but there's no guarantee that I'm giving her what she needs regarding cannabinoids etc. So this is where I ask for help. I'm not asking for anyone to publicly name or add any contact information in this post, but I am hoping/knowing there are people here in the know, have the contacts and are willing to point me in the right direction for a quality s…

Rick Simpson Oil - Advice
Hi everyone, My partner has been diagnosed with terminal skin cancer and I want to procure some Rick Simpson Oil. It seems the only way to do this is to make it yourself. I'm keen to speak with anyone who's had any experience making the stuff - I'm nervous about doing it myself for numerous reasons. I've read the threads on this site that talk about it, but I have other questions: 1) Regarding ventilation...what's proper? I have a bathroom with fan and a large window - is that OK? (I don't really have access to an open space that wouldn't raise suspicions.) 2) The exact solvent to use - http://www.jaycar.com.au/p/NA1066#1 Is this OK? Other questions, too! Thanks f…

New to this...Need Help
Hey everyone I have used recreationally on and off (more so when young) but haven’t had the opportunity medically as yet and I know without a doubt that it will be life changing for me. I have Auto-immune disease (Lupus, Crohns) which as in turn gifted me with Arthritis and pretty bad full body chronic pain (especially my joints). I take opiates daily to function as a mother, wife and I also work as it is better for me mentally to stay very active (though very painful and exhausting). So basically I’m trapped inside a pain riddled body and really want off the pharma drugs so I can regain my brain power and move this opiate fog but also decrease my pain so I can enjoy …

Finally sleeping again
Im fairly new on here but i have been following the forums for a few months now, I hadn't had a full nights sleep for over 10 years until i tried cannabis a few months ago. I refused to go down the path of pharmaceuticals as my dad and grandma have been taking sleeping tablets for years and both have experienced reduced effects. The only option is to keep increasing the dose and/or try stronger drugs. For my whole life I have only tried weed a few times, a couple before i was 18 and once in Amsterdam when i was 26. I didn't mind it but It seemed to put me to sleep every time. This is why i decided to try cannabis instead of pharmaceuticals. I have a smoke about an ho…

Cannabis for hypertension
Hi guys, I've just had a bit of a revelation, thought I'd share it here. I've had hypertension off and on over the years (weight fluctuations and a genetic disposition), and my blood pressure has probably been about 160/90 pretty much all the time, occasionally lower but sometimes even higher. Since I've started using Cannabis (around 2013 I started using it after not having it in quite a few years). My blood pressure has been lower the last few doctors check ups I've had, and I've been confused why, because I've gained weight since starting to use it (oops) and usually that would require me to go back on antihypertensives. I thought I'd do an experiment and m…

SNRIs and Cannabis
Hi there, Apologies if this is the wrong place to post this. I'm one of those annoying newbies I've been taking anti-depressants for 10+ years. I've only been smoking the last couple of years. I current take an SNRI anti-depressant at a high/max dosage (only reason being is that my body has only tends to respond to large doses). I seem to have a very high tolerance to smoking. Do you think this is related? Interested to hear from peoples experience taking anti-depressants and smoking regularly/daily.

Wierd experience.
I have been using weed for around 2-3 months (occasionally). Recently I bought a glass bong and proper equipment. I ripped 3 cones of weed in the glassy but this time it was absolutely different. I did the 3 cones and packed up, went inside. Then after about 10 minutes I started to feel the strangest feeling. I felt like I was encased inside my body and I couldn't feel my legs. I remember tilting my head to the side and it felt like my head was tilted moments before I actually tilted my head. My ears felt like they were pressurized I remember my vision was what appeared to be a strange white tinge almost like thin fog. My stomach also felt upset, it was like a burning sen…

Autism & Marijuana
Hi All, This is my first post on the forum. As some of you may know, recently there has been media interest in the medical use of marijuana for autistic childrens behaviour. I am interested in this information as I have a 7 yr old son with severe autism. His behaviour is off the charts...intense anxiety, screaming, all day repetition, never calms, doesn't sleep well always on the move. He cannot be taken out and our family life is suffering. We have tried every medication known to man; Respiridone, SSRI's, anti eplieptic meds, you name it, no matter the dose or combination no changes last longer than a week, and many have bad side effects. We have also tried many alt…
