MEDICINAL CANNABIS WARNING / DISCLAIMER
There is no pharmacological free lunch in cannabis or any drug. Negative reactions can result. A small percentage of people have negative or allergic reactions to marijuana. Heart patients could have problems, even though cannabis generally relieves stress, dilates the arteries, and in general lowers the diastolic pressure. A small percentage of people get especially high heart rates and anxieties with cannabis. These persons should not use it. Some bronchial asthma sufferers benefit from cannabis; however, for others it may serve as an additional irritant.

Chronic Obstructive Pullmonary Disease (COPD)
Hi, 74YO young man. COPD Lung disease stage 4 (end stage: does not necessarily mean I am about to kick the bucket). Have seeds..intend to plant early October. (Sydney Southerland Shire) Read a lot. OIL (Simpson style) seems very popular. I am not brave enough to cook this. All the 'cures' or 'relievers' seem to be focused on this oil. SURELY there must be better/similar ways to consume?? My breathlessness is becoming annoying and I am startin' to loose my sense of humour...

Cannabis oil colon cancer
With stage 3 colon cancer and no additional treatments being offered due to a very bad reaction to my first chemo dose in 5 years and a perforation in my bowel I am looking as using cannabis oil or cannabis tincture. My story is that I was diagnosed with colon cancer 5 years ago had chemo and radiation therapy for 3 months with my tumour shrinking back to almost nothing but instead of giving me another round of chemo the doctors told me no and wanted to cut me up and put me on a colostomy bag which I don't want as I had a friend do through the same and ended up in a lot of pain and died within a few months. So I changed my diet and started taking a lot of herbal suppleme…

How to deal with the munchies
I know this will be begging for humorous replies, and I will enjoy reading them, but it is a serious question as this is an aspect of cannabis use that can have a negative medical impact, just hope this is the appropriate section for it. Does anyone have any advice or knowledge on ways of combatting/avoiding the munchies, preferably not involving pizza and a crate of Tim Tams. I'm not proper overweight, but I am dr advised overweight and struggling to maintain my level, let alone lose weight, and I have other medical issues that are affected by my weight. I make up for night time munchies to some degree by not eating much through the rest of the day, but spending ti…

What's your problem?
Hey guys and girls, I am just curious as to what problems and or conditions you may have or had that cannabis helps / helped with. I'll tell you a bit about me. So I'm 31 years old and I have been a sufferer of depression and OCD for a looooooooong time. Docs have classed me as having severe depression and I have been on all kinds of meds, most of which make me worse but I'll get to that later. I have been suicidal and a self harmer with my last being about a month or so ago when I cut my leg a few times whilst taking lots of pills and lots of alcohol. It was going to be the day that I took my life but at the last minute I couldn't do it. It's a hard thing to try …

Anyone with using Marijuana to relieve Migraines?
Hello I've suffered from migraines for about thirty years and nothing i've tried cures it. So does anyone here have actual experience of using MJ to relieve Migraines? If yes what is your advise re dosage, type e.g. More THC, CBN etc or anything relevant. I must admit to being a bit of a sceptic re medical MJ, my experience with MJ is that it tends to increase how you're feeling e.g feeling happy then you'll be very happy, feeling sad then you'll feel very sad etc Any comments from people that's actually tried this will be appreciated. Thanks

Hi guys, I am an Australian son to my mother whom has terminal bone cancer, or otherwise known as 2nd degree breast cancer. My mother has had it twice, first time breast cancer, and now bone. We have tried every legal treatment available, and luckily due to my mothers healthy lifestlye and diet she has managed to keep somewhat healthy... Over the years i have dicussed medical marijuanna with her (cannbis oils), and recently she has decided she wants to try a proper regulated routine rather than face chemo for a third time. My mother is seeing her doctor tomorrow about prescription marijuanna as we are desperate to try something new that works even if it is temporary. …

I have no idea what I'm doing!
So. I've been a chronic pain sufferer for coming up on three years. I have Oxycodone and Tramadol prescriptions but honestly I don't like either of them enough to take them regularly. I've smoked joints that've been passed around and I've noticed a couple of times that it's had a reasonable effect. Sometimes. I'm assuming different strains are better for pain than others? Basically I know nothing. I don't know how to roll a joint, even. [which is definitely my preferred method of consumption.] SO. I have some questions. 1. Are there better strains for pain relief. And if so, which? 2. How do I find cannabis? I'm in Brisbane. I have no idea what to do. I'm not a so…
