Anyone else here into crazy sci-fi stuff ? Lately I'm a bit through Cloud Atlas (I dug the preview, so I figure the book should be far superior !) Other than that just reading Neuromancer too, which seems right into it

This website has almost all the important rules of stoner etiquette I can think of. If you are wondering what I am talking about and don't want to go through the whole website, at least read this:**** But I would like to say that stoner's are very welcoming and accommodate beginners, so don't stress. Just use common sense and don't be stepping on toes. Don't follow etiquette and you probably won't be smoking in the group for too long. The reason for my annoyance is a recent encounter with beginners who broke every single rule in the book! I am very accepting of beginners and don't care too much about etiquette but I believe this is a big part of the cannabis culture and s…

So this morning I did my usual thing. Got up, made coffee, and logged on to fb to see what's new in the world of Cannabis. One group I follow, It's "Cannabis", not "Marijuana" (the official fb page for The Kingston Compassion Club Society for Cannabis Research & Development), had shared a snipped from the San Fran Chronicle regarding the Illinois Dept of Corrections banning a book. Read full article here. This book, The Cannabis Papers is "a citizen's guide to cannabinoids", and "explains how the same cannabinoids found in cannabis are made naturally by the human body, and why cannabinoids are essential to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness." It is availab…

Kog, if you haven't already heard of him, is a country boy from Kyogle in NSW. His life is about brewing bear, riding bikes, and growing and selling dope. Basically this is a book of his stories about growing and selling and run ins with the police and going in and out of jail. Kog is a crazy bastard and most of the stories are pretty hilarious. I was laughing most of the way through the book. Its not really a growers book, and although Kog can grow some big plants, there's a lot he doesn't know about growing and about pot in general, and really fits the stereotype of the commercial grower who produces shit weed. Its well set out and written, and full of black …

http://www.scribd.co...rld-1-Ringworld I would have to call this a classic among the science fiction novels, that still after all these years, is a great read. The blurb.. "A new place is being built, a world of huge dimensions, encompassing millions of miles, stronger than any planet before it. There is gravity, and with high walls and its proximity to the sun, a livable new planet that is three million times the area of the Earth can be formed. We can start again!" Enjoy fellow stoners (:

The wasp factory by Ian Banks was a good read. About a twisted kid and his own warped view on life, entertaining and often quite funny.

Has anyone read this book by Robert Anton Wilson? It's a crazy, crazy book. its about conspiricy theories, secret societies, magic, sex and a hundred thousand things more. It's probably not for everyone, but well worth a read as is all Robert Anton Wilson's stuff. He has been described as an: American novelist, essayist, philosopher, futurist, libertarian, and guerilla ontologist, most famous for this satirical book, unfortunately he died this January after a long illness http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Anton_Wilson You can read the book online, but go get a copy if you can. http://blogcritics.org/archives/2004/09/26/024747.php

headshop.hightimes.com/books/pot-smoker-s-handbook.html Picked this up from the books section at a comic store in Boston, and i love it. Great read, lots of useful info, and something you want to keep around as a reference guide. There were a few other weed related books there, but after careful deliberation and an hour of page-turning i went with this one and I'm glad i did. Highly recommended, though i'm not sure of its availability in Oz.

the 2nd best book in the world to me after Hashish!. This book is old, but still the best on the subject of the botany of cannabis. It is not a grow guide, although it offers some good growing advice and would probably get someone through a crop, but it is primarily a scientific text on cannabis and cannabis breeding. There is no photos apart from the front and back covers, but many great diagrams of cannabis by rob himself. It explains basic genetics, landrace varieties of cannabis, cloning, seeding plants, life cycle of cannabis, etc.... Like all rob clarkes work its not exactly a funny book, very heavy reading, and all scientific jibber-jab, you better get used t…
