Hey guys, I want to start a new grow with a coco / perlite (75% / 25%) mix, and am after some advice regarding nutrients. I don't really want to fuck around with bottled nutes and have seen some cool stuff being done with dry amendments, so i'm keen to try that out. Has anyone had any experience with the premixed nutrient kits from organic gardening solutions? https://www.organicgardeningsolutions.com.au The grow will be a single plant in the same pot start to finish (probably 5L) so I'm hoping to figure out a mix to go along with the coco + perlite combo to start with, and then one/multiple mixes I can add in as I progress through veg/bloom. Hey crew Just wanted too know who’s growing in what (coco,vermiculite, clay etc) and what hydro setup style (drain to waste ,Rdwc etc ) ... Just wanted to know if someone can tell me exactly when to add the PK for the week of flowering ? Is it when the buds have formed and they are just increasing weight / waiting for tricks to turn milky/Amber or is it during the stage of them developing .. I lost track of when I flipped them so can’t gonoff the feeding schedule .... my last crop I did in coco I used the pk all the way through (I’m a dickhead but I’m learning by myself till I joined this forum a few months ago and only got 2/3 grows under my belt ) In coco and canna nutes Coco A and B with cannazyme boost and rhizo to schedule !

I found urea, with a nitrogen content of 46 Sulphate of potash with potassium of 41.5 Super phosphate with phosphate of 9.1 All from Richgrow. I'm thinking might be a bit strong.. ?? (I have piwerfeed red which is fantastic on veggies)

Hey crew Another question - can keeping a growing plant in a small pot cause it to die ? I’ve googled this and saw mixed opinions that they either grow slower or stop growing . I’ve got a 8 plants vegging under a 315cmh in small pots (probably 1 litre each or slightly less) in this lot I have a power Africa, gelato , cream cheese and 3 supreme cbd Durban’s (nirvana strain) from Seedsman.. So ive been reading a bit lately people talking about greenleaf megacrop, and im hearing really good things, i did a bit of googling and theres 1 place in Aus that sells it, you get just under 10kg of the one part nutrient and it looks pretty amazing actually, if true it replaces a lot of additives etc with one easy powder. So the guy in aus sells this for aroubd $140 odd. So i found thr suppliers actual website and they offer free samples, you just pay for shipping, so i got a 230gram sample for just under $16. Hi Guys, I'm about to start my first hydro crop and I have a question about water. I've been reading that demineralised or distilled water should be used for hydro nutrients but I can't see myself forking out for 50 litres of water everytime I want to change over my reservoir. What do you experienced growers recommend? Should I just bite the bullet and go down the bought water route? I'll be growing in an ebb and flow system using clay balls as medium in the South East of Melbourne. I've got a pH and EC meter on the way for measurements. Thanks, thegolfer

After some advice on nutrients please. My new grow will be in a perlite/vermiculite mix. Roughly 75/25. I have been using Canna Vega and Flores with Rhizotonic for quite a while now. That was growing in Canna Terra. My local hydro shop closed recently and I went to another last month and they don’t stock Vega or Flores. The owner pushed the stuff pictured below down my throat... I assume he gets a good kick back on sales.. apparently made locally. It is cheap at only $30 for the litre bottle. Is the claim it is good for growing in any medium a bit of an exaggeration? Hello fellow Oz Stoners.... I grow in coco..... I use Grorite and Budrite. During flower the additives used are Monsta Bud and Add Bud, my own bloom booster. In the past I have used Natures Own Bloom Guano throughout the whole grow. Q. Would it really matter if I dropped the guano? What benefit does guano provide? So many opinions. I'm confused. , i used to think it was shit, now i'm not so sure, getting some OK results using just Budrite, doing run to waste(running to waste this time) twice a day no cal-mag, started them at 1400ppm and upped it to 1600/1800 for heading, using bass sulfate of potash once a week got some cuttings going in 50/50 coco perlite, got one in strait coco, its outperforming the others, worked way better in the heat than the 50/50 its almost as good as dirt

Hey all ……..I have a heap of the Cyco nute range left over , after trialing it , can it be used outside in dirt , & do you have to increase or decrease mixing rates ? Always wondered whats the difference between nutes made just for coco & nutes for soil
