When to add pk13/14

Around the 5-6  week mark i use it.

 

I have found that using like pedro has said to have no real benefit, i have done the pk weekly and twice a week and in the end the only diff i found that increased was cost for pk...

You could be right, have never used it any other way, normally use bass sulfate of potash, using PK 13/14 this crop

its the only additive i use, be a bit hard to change the way i do shit now, bit stuck in me ways

Haha feels that way - this is the first time I’ve switched to the canna coco nutes following the whole feeding schedule

Previous grows I used canna a+b Veges for vegging obviously and then after flip hygen a+B Bloom with Budlink silica and GT super PK .

After reading lots of posts on here changed to canna coco which does veg and flower and getting a deal for $260 for 1litre each of boost, cannazyme , pk and rhizo thought I’d follow the actual coco feeding schedule and see how it goes . I went on the website and adjusted the feeding schedule to light feeding so it’s not as much per litre and following this - the 100L probably last a week and a half so 10L a day I suppose ... got a few pots going.... maybe be more efficient if I just grew 2 and scrogged them for an extra month or went rdwc but coco is more forgiving for fuck ups and until I get a few more cycles under my hat I’m still learning so much in previous grows - bud rot, gnats , and bloody spider mites this crop !

All good fun though I’m enjoying the journey - might do a grow diary next time

How can u use 5 litres a grow?

500ml n I get 2 grows out of them

Seems like a he'll of a lot of waste running down the drain

I been thru 20 liters + already this season, its not over yet 

 

run to waste waste lots of $ is about all, mind you its only $180 for 20l of A and B, probably on me 3rd bottle of PK 

 

costs about 5c a gram

Still got the first bottle of pk heavy,still half full,probably run out of date b4 I finish it

1 dose per grow,mind u that lasts in the res for about a week,then slowly diluted out,so about 50ml a res is all I use

Most of my feeds r 0.8,never higher, although can get as high as 1.6 in res,every second or 3rd top up is usually only PH water

Took awhile to get this system I use tuned in,but now I know what's happening it's very easy without a lot of maintence, I can n have left it for a week at a time without looking at it,but generally every other day a quick look,PH test ,that's about it

I'm running between 1.6 and 2, running the sativa's at 1.2-1.4, everything is looking good so far,

 

not that i check anything much, just two caps per bucket and a cap of potash once a week, only check the PH after it rains, been a good year hardly had to adjust it

Mines prone to heat,I lose a lot to evaporation n perspiration, to combat this I need more water than nutrients if u know what I mean

The nutrients don't evaporate, my plants use them or they stay in res, hence more water needed to keep them at the desired rating

I do week 2-4 with dry koolbloom with is 0-10-11 from memory and then for last 2 weeks of nutes I do dry koolbloom which has the big pk numbers.

In what way do you see coco as more forgiving ?

Not that I’m going off experience but more from what I’ve read if you make a mistake nute wise or your pump/power trips or fails and your away for a few days at a time (like to try get away for a weekend once a month or more camping or something with the family ) then less chance of killing your plants compared to RDWC ?

For me being new too it all seems more forgiving mate
