Cannabis Breeding Rooms

Hi all, haven't been round much lately. Been breakng in some new strains and finding mothers. Was wondering what lights everyone uses to clone, and how they go. I always used the Power-glo 20 watt x 2 in a 2 foot fitting. I've always had a good survival rate, but damn, they are pricey compared to normal ones. What about you guys? Cheers Vaz

I recieved today from TY a pack that contains either HS or SH, and another with SQ TY on it?? anyone help me figure out the strains? Im thinking SQ is snow queen but cant find info on it???

Have grown this indoor for a while. Originally got some seed from a friend who grew this outdoor around the Uki, Northern Rivers area. The strain was explained to me as a 'short-term' Nepalese. As its characteristics are tall and stretchy (seen it at 12ft outdoors), i interpret this as a Nepalese Sativa x some indica dominant strain. It does throw wide-fingered leaves early on which gradually get thinner and thinner. Indoor it takes 9-10wks to finish flowering. Very vigorous growth, i have to tie it down pretty hard for the first couple of weeks of flower. Buds are more like donkey-dicks as opposed to spear shaped. Has anyone sucessfully used HID lighting for clones. Everything I have read says to use fluros for cloning. However I want to know if it is possible to use say a 400watt HPS for cloning? If anyone has sucessfully done this, how far would you hang the light? Chief

*BEWARE BRAINFART ATTATCHED* hi all, we made a wish list of the seeds we would like, but now who can help who with the strains, maybe we can set up a ASSC of our own within OS?? like a barter type system maybem all the seeds get sent to OS and then he sends them out to the other parties?? so like I send my SQ TY and HS seeds in, but as a swap for purple haze etc, and the guy with the haze send his in as well, Now We would need to send in a few $ to cover the expenses of the trade ie post etc.

hi ozstoners, I finished a G13 & white rhino grow a little while ago. The G's are ok but I think they are overated personally. Nice taste & smell but not as potent as I had hoped. I let them go for 12 weeks gro too. I cannot tell the difference between the white's & G's now they have been harvested - both buds look smell & tast the same now but they were different when growing. Hey all, Pretty sure this is a fairly new product, got one 2day. It's a flood&drain, seed raising & propagation kit. Great for idiots like me that forget (or don't have time 2!) water. Only cost me $39.95, and it really is brilliant. You basically have 2 sets of 8 130mm pots and humidifying covers (with butterflies), the system holds 8. Then they sit on sponges in the injection moulded watering tray. You have 1m of 4mm polytube that runs from the automatic watering valve and up into a container of around 2L capacity.
