The other night I was reading an older post on how to build a DWC set up, I was that baked I can't find it again, it was a fantastic tutorial with great pic's, too baked to bookmark the page Anyhow, this is the setup I have decided to go with, I have now gathered all of the required equipment and should be ready to go in the next week I have some seed on the way from Nirvana, but the only thing that concerns me is how the seedling will get water & nutes being so high up in the medium?? The only other thing I need to know is what is the optimum temp to keep the water at?? My setup will be a 4 pot system growing Supergirl and PPP! Cheers! Canaman

Im using two rooms .. One for clones & veg and the other for flowering.. Problem is if i leave them in the veg room waiting for the ones in the flowering room to harvest they end up way too tall for the flowering room (9-12 weeks in flower room). Cloning Method: Clones are placed thru some foam and floating in ph adjusted water for 48 hours, then into rockwool, clay balls and basket until they have developed roots. Then i slowly increase the nuits over the next 3-4 weeks. This has been a very successful method in the past. Greetings Green thumb people. Now I am retired and have some time on my hands. Can someone please advise on how to "Prune" basically ? Just beginning to dabble seriously again , I have grown one other plant last year quite sucessfully , nice head and quite good...only problem is, that's all there was. Great big long stem with about 4 leaves and one nice size but "so.so" head. How do you B'bushy..it up rather than just all stalk and one head.? All surgestions appreciated. Thank you !

Hey everyone Had some circumstances beyond my control which meant both my girls had to veg for 2 extra weeks in a cramped area and not much maintenance. I want to switch to 12/12 today, but after tieing them down I notice a number of branches that are a little out of control height wise - and heaps of pissy little toothpick size branches and shoots under the main canopy. I would like to chop them straight out then switch to 12/12. Is this ok - or will I be placing undue stress on them? How much can I actually trim? All help appreciated aussie

Hi everyone, At the moment I'm using Sensi Bloom A+B Budblood (first week) Advanced Carbo and next week I'll used Advanced nutrients big Bud. She's getting pretty big and I have only 1/2 a metre now to play with Do I need to add additional nutrients to pause the growth of the plans so the plant can just concentrate on budding? Hi I'm wanting to grow some plants (probably 3) but my grow space only measures to a 1m and a bit tall, however I have heard that if you put the plant into 12/12 lighting early you can limit the height that it'll grow. I'm told that a plant will roughly double in hight after you change to 12/12 light so if I turned to 12/12 when the plant was at about half a meter would the plant end up at roughly a meter tall? I'm going to be using a mix or Blue and Red CFL's on an adjustable ballast in a cupboard roughly half a meter front to back by a meter and a half wide, and as I said a meter and a bit tall, the cupboard is also fitted with a thermostaticly controlled extractor fan …

I have a book called "The Connoisseur's Handbook of Marijuana" written by William Daniel Drake Jnr. 1971. In this book he shows how to graft a hop plant to a hemp plant a sativa plant. Has anybody tried this? Apparently hops & cannabis share quite similar biochemical constituents, particularly those of the tissue fluids and organic composition of the mature plant.

i have two females in 2nd week of 1212 now i have broke a main branch yesterday and was just wondering what the chances are of my plant being a hermaphadite. also the plant is very tall now and i may have to tie it down in a week or two so it dose not get to close to the hps i talked to my friend about this and he told me not to tie the plant down during 12/12 or it could cause too much stress and possibley turn into a hermaphadite not shure what to do about how tall my plant is just want to know if anyone ties theres down during the 12/12 or if any one has any better ideas for me thanks for all of your help .
