I finally got three strains from yantra and thought id try a late season grow . I bought blueberry, sunset sherbet and was given trainwreck to try as a frebee. I had an accident with the sherbet and lost the lot, but the blueberry and trainwreck all sprouted and now they are just about done. The blueberry is stunning, the buds are huge , loaded with crystals and smell like blueberry pie. The train wreck has tight fat buds , smells like lemon menthol. I also found an amino vitamin liquid from bunnings for 20 dollars that really works fast, its called eco-aminogro. All and all im impressed with yanta there seeds are just as they say.

So finally found my local hydro shop today. Got the Terra Pro stuff and told the guy I needed nutes as well. This is what he gave me. Anyone used it before? Sent from my SM-N920I using Tapatalk

So I've used pool acid and am currently using apple cider vinegar for my pH down. I find with the H&G nutes and my tap water the PH is 6.7 after mixing. Can anyone recommend a good pH down with buffers that plays nicely with H&G nutes? MLG Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app

Im still waiting on my PH metre which should arrive next week, however id like to prepare rockwool for my just split seeds, and i read that the PH of rockwool is around 8 due to Lime during the manufacturing process, and that i must measure PH'd water and soak the rockwool for 24hrs. Is this really necessary? as im yet to obtain a PH metre should i just give the rockwool cubes a bath in bottled water and hope for the best? any household products i can add to lower the PH slightly?

It's coming to that time where temps drop a bit (they already have). I'm growing indoors in a large open space with the intake from outside. Because the space is large with only a small grow I can't heat using an oil heater or similar. I've done a fair bit of reading about heat mats and the consensus is to remove them after the seed pops the surface, kept on longer may result in root rot. My temps have gone as low as 13 in the room. Would it be ok to use the heat mat under fabric pots in winter? Even though I use a 400w hps it doesn't really heat up the space because it's so open. Opinions? OK to use the mat underneath during winter? MLG Posted from the OZ Stoners mobi…

Hi all! Got a question for the more experienced growers. Couple of weeks ago I re-built my grow-space, which took 48 hours. I have 2 plants which are roughly a month old, so only about halfway though my desired veg time. During the 48 hour rebuild period, I made sure the plants didn't get more than 12 hours of darkness, as I was planning a few more weeks of veg time. But apparently I failed, as both plants have now shown sex (1 male, 1 female). Obviously the male is getting cut today. My question is about the female. At this stage, it has the 2 white hairs showing in multiple areas. So its very early in flowering. Should I try and re-veg the plant, or am I better off …

After a week of not having any luck with the paper towel germination method, I took some advice online in the forum and moved the seeds to seed raising mix and organic peat pots. Gets nice morning sun and nothing heavy middle of the day or the afternoon. Been spraying the surface with water only when it has gone dry. Any other advice you can give me? Hi guys, I have been using the paper towel method to germinate my seeds for the last 5 days. Coming up to day 6 today and not seeing much progress. There are little holes in the side of the seed which I assume is the beginning of the root coming through. I have been using the paper towel method and assuring the towel is kept moist every 12 hours. It is kept in my drawer to keep it dark. Weather in brisbane for last week has been getting colder but we still have highs of 23 every day. Any advice would be appreciated even if it's to tell me to stay patient [emoji16] Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app
