Hi everybody, I think I've found the right place to ask some questions, first time grower & first time forum poster. Sweet to have found an Oz Growing community, so thank you Hola amigos, I live in Perth. I'll give you a little background info. My friend had 20 plants he went down south and they all pretty much died except for two. I've been growing plants and veges for a few years and as a bit of an experiment I thought I might be able to resurrect some growth in them. Hey guys new here, Not sure if anybody has posted about this. Anyway last year I did an outdoor grow and thought I'd try the urea as my nitrogen source Ended up chucking a 4kg bag to roughly 1 - 2 tons of soil. Had it sitting for around 3 months the soil legit smelt like diesel or something. Also had mushroom compost, organic soil, blood & bone. Coco. Perlite I thought this soil would of killed my baby's. Obviously was wrong the plant was a monster 3 pounder did a shit load of tying down also anybody else had a success like this or did I just get super lucky haha.

Love to hear suggestions on this I'll be growing on a block in Qld, scrub, and the main predators are wallabies, roos, and potentially possums. There are plenty of wallabies, tho' the previous tenants had two Staffies and in the two years they were there, sightings close to the house became almost non-existent. Now I'm not naive enough to think that this will last long So, in addition to deterrents (endless supply of poo from the above two Staffies) and urine etc, I am curious about fencing? Ive worked in construction for years, done heaps of fencing, but not like this? My thoughts were: star pickets, 3 strands of barbed wire (or not? I don't want to injure animals…

Hey all, been a bit quiet here for a while.... life seems takes you in different directions at the snap of a twig sometimes Anyways... got a new plan, Guerrilla style in FNQ Tablelands region.... The soil around the area im looking in is very light and sandy with rocks.... IMO its great for the drainage but how do we ammend it? Native trees growing great are Gums, Iron Barks, Accacias etc (Classic Aussie bush trees) and alot of small Pines... Some are infested with Termites, most are not. There are massive termite mounds in the area but at least 50m from the site we are looking at. We had a trial run in a pot with some nice, trusted and proven organic potting mix... …

How u Vic lot lookin? I pulled a little indica this morning 57 days, need another week. Humidiity is shocking 80% atm and i think its dropped a little on thew hole day, could only check % recently. I got a big fucker that needs6-14 days but i dont think its gonna make it.

Hey its my first grow. Im unsure of the strain as its just from an old timer anyway I am wondering if anyone has any idea about how long she has to go. Im waiting for a scope to arrive, And was a little worried i might miss my time to add more nutrients or flush. Thanks in advance

Trying to grow for the first time to make some Rick Simpson Oil to help with many medical issues. Seedlings are now 2 weeks old and about 2" tall and look thin to me. Any advise would be welcome. Thanks in advance. Strain- Critical Kush Light- Full Sun for 8 hrs./day . Indirect light 12 hrs/day. Most light I can get due to sheds and trees Soil- Searls potting/cutting mix with 25% fine Perlite from Bunnings Water- Every 3 rd. day when top 1" feels dry. Spray soil in late afternoon around stems Pot - 5" tall x 3" round Have "Carnage" advise and ave not used any fertilisers .

I liked the outdoor pic dump thread from last season. And it's getting closer to the time that we will be getting everything ready for this seasons. So who's going outdoors? Who's growing what strains? How many? Back yard or out bush? Water saving ideas? General brain waves for this season? Hi all. I'm an outdoor grower, so no lights to use for clones. Is there a way to take cuttings for clones before flowering (say Jan/feb), and then keep them alive until the following Spring summer?

Anyone used them? Rethinking my constant drip setup, root rots been playing on my mind, $24 from bunnings, battery operated, easy enough to set for a five minute flow every 24, 48 or 72 hours, I'll have to experiment a bit and suss the flow rates. Any thoughts?
