Hi all Was originally an overgrow member back in about 2000/2001 and then life moved on and had to take a few years off. Looking to grow a couple outdoors in WA and only just germinated my seeds, by my guess and memory I am running about 1/2 months behind schedule? Will they start to finish around the feb/march mark? Made up a soil recipe a few days ago Potting mix (forget which brand atm) cow manure a half dozen cups of blood and bone some trace elements a couple cups of kelp meal a three quarters cup of Epsom salts some dolomite Going to stick the beans in some pots tomorrow and get it started. Any advice from any other WA growers regarding the timing of m…

My friend just accidentally ripped my little sprouted plant out of the soil, I looked and there was no roots there, i planted it back in the soil, not too deep because it hasnt stood up properly yet will it survive? should I kill my friend? I'm worried.

I have a couple of babies planted in beginning of Sept, outdoors in pots, were going fine except have recently started growing single leaves, before they were triple leaves. Also they seem to have stopped growing, although 1 continues to grow but still has developed single leaves. The tallest one is about 20-30 cm the others are about 15-20 cm. Other than single leaved and the ones that have 'stopped' growing they seem quite healthy. We have had a lot of cloudy days and rain and unusually cold weather lately, would that be enough to 'slow' down the plants? Is this normal or have I stuffed it somehow. Cheers

I have had my seeds floating in a cup for about 5 days now and I woke up to check that their is one that sprouted (the rest didnt but I will leave them in there), I dont know if it sprouted yesterday since I forgot to check, or over night. It's only really small, should I leave it in the cup to sprout some more or is its tiny little sprout enough to take it out and start growing, I'm just worried that this might be as much as it will sprout and then it will die if I leave it longer can someone also link me to that guys page with the germinating in the cup, I lost it thanks, all advice welcome, I will be back this afternoon to check, I hope it doesn't die

I have a few seeds which didn't sprout when I tried to germinate them, I have a feeling I did it wrong since it was my first attempt and the advice I got on how to do it was from a dumbarse friend this seeds didn't sprout and have been sitting in the container I tried to germinate them in for the past few months, I read that guys guide(sorry forgot your user name) on germinating them in a glass of water, will this still work? or have the seeds had it, thanks.

Hi, I'm currently growing a plant in a pot and I was wondering how much the pot size affect the plant. I want my plant to only gtow about 1.5 meters or so, so do i just use a smaller pot? or just trim it? And how easily will the plant get root bound? Any replies are much appreciated!

heres my story guys, ill have a few photos in the next few days, to start form start sprouted a seed under cfl's moved under a larger growlush cfl, then due to unforseen circumstances had to move houses suddenly , gave the roughly 4-5 week old plant to a mate as building a box for it has been delayed. mate has come to work today and told me the plant has started flowering(plant is now outdoors). Hes had plant for roughly 6 weeks, so im putting its age at roughly 12 weeks. The plants outdoors with his other ones, they are not flowering. Was recently repotted last week. When it was inside it had 18 hours of light per day. Was planted in a tomatoe type fertaliser and i thoug…
