howdy peoples quick question.. i was just reading the thread on flavouring buds.. all sounds cool and easy enough. it did explain how you flavour with vanilla and fruits etc, but it also mentioned you can flavour with bubblegum.. but didnt metion exactly how.. being a fan of bubblegum i like the sound of that so my question is, do i just put some hubba bubba or something in the jar while its curing or do i have to do something else to make it work???? cheers

Hi there stoners, Just after some info from anybody who has used a vine ripening method (as in leaving plant in ground not just buds on stem) and no water before harvest technique. Second hand info is appreciated but personel experiences would be better, i want to know how long you starved of water, if you have done side by sides, how much weight is lost from starving if any, wether there was any noticeable gains of quality, was drying time reduced, was taste affected, was potency affected and anything else you may wish to add, Thanks in advance OS, bong on....

was just talking with a mate ,about old times and what we used to do just out from harvest time! Without checking to see if there is already a post on this subject , i though perhaps we could all share ideas on what each other do prior to harvesting our yearly outdoor smoko . i used to not water 2 weeks out from harvesting and try to harvest just after the hottest part of the day ! plus a few other little things but ill start the thread and see what others do before i start throwing other things in so i dont sound too weird ? so who goes next regards pf

got a question for the experienced or seasoned smoker who enjoys using a bong. every so often ill rip a cone and its harsh as fuck. its that bad that me chest kills for half hour or so, and me throat gets so sore i have to have milk to get relief. does this happen to other ppl too? what gets me, is that its from the same "chop up" that i had 2 hours earlier and it was fine then using the same bong. its got me knackered what could be causing this to happen. sometimes if im keen, i can rip 2 cones back to back and then an hour later again and it doesnt hurt me, just sayin im used to the smoke. thanks

I am interested in trying out this method. I have only been smoking for less than a year and have never grown. I am interested in water curing as I believe I have got unflushed hydro. I have never cured or dried green before, so this will be my first time. I have read up all I could find about this method and have a few questions. • Can I use some sort of metal mesh to hold down the herb under water? • Will I be able to smell it in my room if I leave it in an open container, under water? I currently have it in a Ziploc bag in an enclosed case and can’t smell it at all. • What are the methods to dry it after water curing? A food dehydrator ($70) is my last resort as I only…

I heard raspberry leaves are soothing and you can get high off them, so why not give them a try. I have a couple raspberry plant patches to getting the leaves is no problem at all, I just don't know how to dry them. Most methods include hanging them up in a ventilated area to dry them, which I cannot do. This must be done in private because reasons. Any ideas?

A mate suggested he liked to dry the whole plant as one, before chopping it down for smaller buds. I was wondering, is this a good idea, I heard ages ago this allows the THC to distribute through the plant, is that correct? Cheers

Hey guys', Some weeks are better than others... This week sure was one of them. Just fininshed my first indoor harvest Xmas eve. They were all ramdom seeds collected from smoking mates. The largest one was a mutant that started life - tap root up, in the coldest week of the year. It monged and developed a double main stem. At a guess it's mango. Anyway I need double the cure jars that I anticipated. The results are awesome. 26oz on the biggest and an average of 16oz per plant. I have grown monsters outside for years but have honestly never really weighed them. This may sound naive but...Is anyone else getting 26oz plants indoor or is this a freak? Or do I need to …

Okay, so recently I have come into the possession of some marijuana that on first glance (with a room full of people) instantly knew something was up with it. For one thing, It weighed to an ounce, however the actual size, feel, smell, basically everything was off. Including this weird browny discolouration on the buds that I could scratch of under my nail. I called the person I got it off and they told me it was some kind of drying agent. However I've been researching all morning about drying agents, residues etc etc but all I've found is that, no one uses drying agents on weed. Wondering if anyone has tried the '3 days of darkness' before harvesting ? From what I have read, 3 days of complete darkness at the end of your flushing period can really increase the resin production of the buds...... Have tried searching on this forum and others but have not found any mention of it, most of the references to this are from the U.S... Any feedback or comments - not sure if I should give it a go or not ?? Buster
