All, I've been wondering this for a while. I vape or smoke an amount of cannabis. I'm fine and happy with how I feel. With edibles, will let's say cooking up some butter give me the same effect? Is that a good way to determine how much I should be using to cook with or spread on my toast?! MLG Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app

Hi All, So on the advice of others I've used some of my find to make tincture or green dragon. Now, I had a look around and found a few recipes. Some say cook it, others say don't. Some say use coffee filters, others say don't. Some say leave it to steep for 3-4 weeks, some say heat it. Well I need this quickly, so I took a bit of all the info I found and did this. I took 1 oz of head and using a coffee grinder made it a powder. I placed it on a foil lined baking tray and cooked it at 130C for 15min in the oven. This process releases the right cannabanoids for the alcohol to absorb I sterlized some jars with boiling hot water(notice the spoon in each jar, accordi…

Here is my method. The result is very mild in taste but works great, I once had a very experienced smoker eat one brownie only to spend 30mins at its peak looking for his toes until he realised he had shoes on. Haha. OK here goes. 7-8 grams of very well cured bud, I'm talking more than a month in the jar, fresher stuff will give you a green/chlorophyll taste which won't necessarily affect the potency only the flavour. Grind it up very fine. 250 grams of Nutelex spread, seems to work better than butter it doesn't get nutty flavour when cooked and the soy lecithin supposedly helps the extraction, this will yield around 220ish grams of finished butter. Add spread to a pan wi…

Ive found a slow cooker recipe for cannabutter that I want to try. Im planning on only using quarter ounce of weed (instead of an ounce). Does that mean I should quarter the amount of butter and water? What about the cooking time? Should I quarter that as well (the recipe suggests cooking for 12 to 24 hours in a slow cooker on low heat)? Is it possible to over cook cannabutter? I read somewhere that decarboxylating weed before cooking the butter will increase the quality of the buzz? Is this correct? Does it make much difference? Ir would 24 hours in a slow cooker be sufficient?
