Hi there, I have read somewhere that a dark period at the end of flowering for about 48hrs, just prior to harvest, increases the potency/quality of the final product. Anyone out there know of any truth to this. I am about to chop the last remaining plant in my first grow & am wondering if I should bother? I also read somewhere about harvesting early in the morning( in terms of light cycle) as there is supposedly more THC in the buds. Any ideas guys??

I just bought some Yates Moss and Algae Killer from the shop, exposed rockwool blocks often have problems with this growing on them ive seen.. so just in case, got it for cheap.. I use rockwool cubes (1.5cm cube in a 7cm cube) in a cocopeat/vermiculite/perlite mix and havent noticed any buildup, because im hand watering at the moment... i want to grow one decent female from the five plants i have going.. and clone it into pure rockwool/expanded clay balls... as this seems the quickest method of growing plants. Normally algae killer is sprayed on the surface of the soil, but because ill have the pump going all the time on drippers, will it affect the roots? Also, ive se…

i have 2 mother plants in 50/50 perlite and potting mix,they are about 7 weeks.recently (2wks ago)cut it back and cut 25% off roots and repotted. Mum 1 leaf tips curling up,giving it plain water 2 times per wk without nutes as potting mix was added after cutting.is it something i'm doing or not doing thats causing the leaf curl. Mum 2 a very dusty speckled look to the leaves and getting worse.What do i need to do to get them back on track ?this is my first attemptat keeping a mum so any advice would be apprecited.thanks all.HR

yesterday i opened my cupboard to find that my plant was starting to lean and sag a little bit, and this morning when i looked at it, it was completely fallen over, the stem had not broken, it was as if it had fallen asleep, just lying down. The plant seems to be fine, doesnt look sick, just cant keep itself up. Its under fluros, i use osmocote, its about a month or so into flowering, i gave it a nice watering yesterday. Any ideas? P.S. i had this problem before, only alot milder, just a slight sag, which i fixed with a stake and a shoelace, i could fix this with a stake, but im worried about damaging the roots by plunging stakes into the pot. and i would also need a go…

I have about 7 plants 2 an 1/2 feet tall growing in a n ice cream bucket outside they are looking good will they form buds by themself or what should i do i also plan on bringing them indoors in the fall any help would be greatly apreciated

Welcome be part of australias payback to the govenment, This Spring overgrow australia by planting ur seeds everywhere such as garden beds ,side of highways, public places ,cop stations everywhere im going for NSW and driving around NSW planting 4000 of my seeds EVERYWHERE ,Lets get em back where it HURTS,THERE would be to much to chop and the ones they miss they will produces seeds!! thanks Be a part and fuck up the govenment!

Well just got my 1st grow underway, seeds sprouted after the 2nd day in an incubator and some potting mix, misted 2-3 times daily. Sitting about 3-4 ft away from my 400w hps right now. They are in little rectangular seedling trays and I don't want to keep them anymore than a week in there before I transplant them into proper 150 mm pots. I want to use some worm castings, pot power soil, dolomite lime, a small amount of verm and I'd like to use perlite for drainage but I can't find any, I have some pumice but i'm not sure if it will suffice. Hello, I have 15 clones in a aero kit, they've just rooted and are looking great. I only need to keep them going for another month until my current crop is finished. Should I be feeding the plants with nutrients? If so, should I just use my normal Canna Vega nutrient or try something else?? Thanks for the help.....again Cheers dwyndorf
