hey guys so I'm doing my first grow and was originally going to do it all old school, veg for however long after my clones rooted, then flower, etc. I'm thinking now switching them (today, 2 weeks into veg) to flower for 5-6 weeks then harvest. ill be doing more clones in the future and heres the plan: for quicker harvests of more smaller plants, 15-20 clones under 100w or similar clf for one week 24/0 after rooting to stabilize then switching those under 2 x 400 hps 12/12 (separate grow areas) for 6 weeks then harvest get clones every 3 weeks to rotate into cfl. my hope is to harvest at least monthly if not every 3 weeks or so I have white widow and strawberry cou…

I was on the train the other day listening to a conversation two guys were having about an additive/nutrient called U-Turn. From what I could gather, without making it so obvious I was totally immersed in their conversation, is that this product stops the plant from growing on application (foliar spray I think) when turning plants to flower enabling all of the energy from the plant to be put into flowering. I did a search and have found the product for sale but have not come across any reviews or feedback - can anyone help with some more information ??

A quick question for anyone with any knowledge on the topic. I may potentially have a male plant that I would like to grow and collect some pollen of to use on some ladies. I don't want to grow it outdoors as its to high a risk of impregnating the girls. I have a 50w fluro and some other 20w's but no HPS or MH. Would these lights be strong enough to produce some pollen out of the male? for some reason I thought males would require less energy to produce pollen as it seems like a little less effort on their behalf . Anyone that has done or knows something on the topic please feel free to reply. Cheers Scraps

Hi everyone, I've purchased a mini greenhouse similar to the one seen on this page. It is basically a plastic dome with some drainage at the bottom, and airholes at the top. The only thing is, I don't know how to use it for my seedlings without creating an oven and baking them! Do I put them directly in the sun, for as long as possible every day? Do I only put them in the shade? How fast would it dry out in the sun? Has anyone used one of these before to give me some tips... I'm planting in Jiffy Pots. Thanks

Hey all. I'm curious about this product. Is it just the same as SuperBud and RockJuice? I'm trying to get one of my strains to be less fluffy but i dont' want to sacrafice that at the expence of resin, smell, quality etc. I run a 200ltr run-2-waste system. Any comments and suggestions on when to use, and dose rates etc appreciated

i wish to run a perpetual garden and am wondering what the best medium/setup to use is , im tossing up between a satellite system with expanded clay balls or two flood and drain tables with rockwool (im not interested in coco) ......i think the rockwool would be easier to use in a perpetual set up , as its simply a matter of transfering between flood tables.........however i plan to grow fairly large plants with a decent veg and the clay balls/pots seem to have the edge .....do clay balls need to be replaced each crop or can they be washed and re-used ?.......

Hey guys so i got 2 girls under 12/12 with 800w of HPS, I'm also vegging a couple of strains in a cupboard under a 150w CFL ( one of those big mofos from the hydro shop)its a blue light spectrum....i was wondering... when i wake up in the morning i take my vegging plants out of the cupboard and put them into the tent with the HPS and the 2 girls flowering ...just before lights out i'll take them back out and back into the cupboard where they'll receive another 6 hours of light then a few hours sleep, then i repeat the process the next day, can switching these plants light spectrums confuse them/stress them? I can notice good growth when there in the tent with the HPS b…

G'day everyone, AussieToker, Victoria Australia Im back again looking for some help with a good soil mix. After my last post I checked out Subcool's Super Soil and I was keen to do it, but as I'm a new grower & not the most experienced in soil I'm gonna need everyone's help changing it around a little. Some of the ingredients Subcool calls for I'm not able to purchase, but I figured I'de be able to substitute some ingredients & I wouldn't have to get it spot on. If anyone can give us a hand, It would be much appreciated. Subcools Super Soil 8 Bags Roots soil or equivalent high quality supped up grow soil 25 pounds Pure Worm Castings cup Azomite tr…

Was just wondering when you guys back off yer nutes? Do you back them off? Im currently on 2.1 ec at week 4. Using potash and bloom nutes. They are fast becoming the biggest nugs ive grown by far, im hoping they dont end up airy but everything seems to be fine heat, exhuast and RH wise. Was just wondering what week, if you do it, do you back the nutes off? How much do you drop ec wise? Im also going to use pk13/14 at week 6 and drop the potash from then on till end. Hope this makes sense, would really dig some input to help make this a real cracker of a grow. Cheers.

I have been trying the short light cycle for the last 2 weeks on my veg. 14hrs under CFL. It looks like better growth, it has not had any negative effect that I can see. these 2 clones have doubled in in size with plenty of allover growth. I have another cupboard for veg running a 400w, it has been on the 12on-5.5off-1on-5.5off. These also appear to be doing extremely well with on sign of flowering. My budding room is still 12/12, if all goes well with the veg I will try the reducing light cycle. How to reduce the cost of growing cannabis saving 30-50% on your electricty bill using the 12-1 lighting schedule. The biggest innovator in the history of cannabis i…
