General Cultivation Q&A

I have a question to anyone who has grown the strain holy grail kush, very very good strain. The story goes in 09 high times cannabis OQ 18 won the cup. The next year kosher kush won the year after that they crossed them to make holy grail kush which won in 11. They say to use new to newer carbon filters and its potency, smell, taste and yield is nothing to compare to. Any info would be appreciated since I have not talked or heard anyone with this strain cheers.

Ok now I have read a few pages on Scog. Is is really worth it. Really interested in the concept of it. I am normal just a veg for 4 - 5 weeks. Top plant at 2 weeks veg. And LST for few weeks till shut down. How much veg time do you need to fill a 1 x 1 square meter screen before flower. Few beans say 500g per square meter. But I get that with me normal veg time. Does it increase yeild, and is it worth the extra time.

Hi all this is my Aus outdoor sativa dom in w9 of flower 11/13 in DWC 400w hps temps lately 23-30c 40-60% humidity. Was hoping for any advise on when to start to flush and pick Most of the flowers have 40-50% of the white hairs turning amber This is my first attempt so any info is great Thanks

Hey All, Any ideas on how i can stealth out my garden to sneak a plant or two in?? I was thinking to grow a bunch of tomato plants in the back and sneak them in between?

This is the 1st grow with CFL's, I've read that when the buds frost up and hairs turn red than it's time for harvest, through the grow I've noticed growth/change on a daily basis but haven't seen any change in the last 4 days or so..Anyone think I should harvest yet? The strain's big bang for anyone that's interested.. Cheers

Just a warning for anyone shopping over ebay, Hydro2organic are a dodgy shop, so I would avoid them if you can. About a month ago I ordered a shitload of nutes and additives and 2 weeks ago recieved only a quarter of the nutes I ordered, and the additives were in a different bottle, with the name written on the label in permanent texta, there was no warning of this in the auction description. I rang the shop today to talk to them, after calling about 10 times, he finally answered. His excuse for the additives being in a different bottle is becuase when the courier delivered it there was a hole in the bottle, and he had a half full bottle, so he put them both in an emp…

Ok so I got some big-bud seeds from m-seeds.nl. I've used that seed bank before and all was good. But this time, the leaves of the seedlings are all twisted and not growing properly. Some of the tiny little branches are missing leaves as well if that makes sense, like the plant is not symmetrical for some reason. One of the plants has a large chunk out of one leaf and is missing a leaf. The other plant is really twisted and looks like it's dying. I've never grown big-bud before so I'm not sure if it's just the strain or if I'm doing something wrong. I have 2 plants and its happening to both of them. Could it be pH maybe? I've never worried about pH as I've never had any…

I went to see someone who is usually a reliable source of quality bud the other day and he had something different. Told me it was 10 bucks less for an oscar and that he didn't have any of the usual. I took what he had and its nothing on the usual stuff. It sparkles when you light it almost like ya sprinkled flint or gun powder into it. I remember as a teen being told that buds that smoked like that were sprayed with something to ad weight. Haven't thought of it since but now that I do, that seems weird. Is it possible that its cos the bud hasn't been flushed properly?

Hi guys and gals, Firstly its pretty silly of me not have checked this before hand but is "liquid lead" and "uptake" the same thing? Also i fear i may have doubled my Liquid lead portion in my last res. fill. Can anyone tell me if that will be an issue? Having said that, if 'Uptake" and "liquid lead" are the same sort of product then i have now possibly tripled it. Surely thats a problem, well im not one to find out so will empty the thing and start again if so. But mostly need to know if double the LL is going to murder things or not. Cheers.
