Organic, pro-biotic and organic growing without bottled nutrients

Recommended Posts

I've been using Natrakelp for a number of years and I've been happy; $75 for 5 litres and free freight seems reasonable to me.

that's cool mate , 5lts @ $75 = $15 per liter

you might want to try the raw kelp meal

1kg = 175 teaspoons = 140 liters diy liquid kelp

1kg of kelp from DNG is $15 + shipping

if diy kelp solution works as good it's much cheaper to buy kelp meal ,

not to mention the added options of top dressing , soil mixing & compost / castings making with the meal

Thanks Itchy... Yeah, raw inputs are definitely best value. 1 or 2 kgs goes a long way when making teas once per fortnight. 1 kg of kelp meal is about enough for 275L of my finished water only soil. Cheap. Edited by DoNothingGarden

We have a whole leaf 200:1 aloe powder product dropping soon. 50g for 35 bucks or so. 20g makes 1L of liquid aloe concentrate, similar to NTS Aloe

Really good value. Being dehydrated water soluble powder, means beneficial compounds are fully preserved and released into water. Closest thing to fresh aloe, but I like it more because I can actually use a measured amount. It's from organic, Australian grown, certified chemical free aloe vera. A huge list of benefits when applied as foliar or to your soil. Salicylic acid as a trigger for SAR, powerful rooting hormone, gibberellins, vitamins, minerals and nutrients...

i think you've been talking to Saul ?

do you use your aloe juice , once made up (20g per liter) @ 15ml of juice per liter

I've always loved using powdered aloe and coconut... But seriously Aloe-T.... Same thing but U ship liquid and U get 200L of foliar solution at 5ml/L. With the 50g 200x powder U get 500L of foliar solution... For the same price. And I don't get stung for shipping liquids, neither does the customer. Yes I've been talking to Saul

Yup, definitely use at 5ml/L. 10ml/L if cloning or treating seeds.

yep def want powder & not liquid

i use 200:1 full leaf & inner leaf powder

& i use both & 15ml of made up juice per liter

i find the full leaf takes a bit more time

to incorporate into the water

i don't see a diff between using either of them apart from the

inner leaf powder requires only 10g to make 1 liter of juice

the inner leaf is a little more expensive & there's prob a little more

processing involved in manufacture compared to the whole leaf sun dried

do you have a handle on any coconut water powder ?

i used to use the Loving Earth freeze dried powder but can't seem to find it anymore
