Next time im at bunnings (my second home lol) ill check it out and confirm the price and look at some other stuff while i am there, I also wanna add Uplift seedling starter which i have been using on my last batch of chili plants which has been working really well for me, they are some really healthy little plants at the moment and have been growing exceptionally well, only about $8 a bottle too, i think the dilution rate would be similar to seasol though. Ok... so i had to re do the calculations on the Great White as it i did not sound right and was not fair because it was a powder and i was looking at 1 litre in powder form. So i picked a bottle that would closely make 1000L of solution as possible, because there is no Australian supplier on ebay for this product i used the site sponsor - http://glandorehydro...RICHODERMA.html

Anyway i totally admit i fucked up the maths and ontop of that, made it entirely unfair with the other products by using a size that would make waaaay more solution when compared the rest, but it has been rectified.

This as put Great white back a place and CX Hydroponics Regen-a-root is back in first place.

Sorry for the mix up !

It has also come up in the chatroom that maybe these products should be separated into different categories which would separate the products into enzymes, beneficial bacteria/fungi and hybrid products. I am totally up for discussion on this, if people feel this would improve the quality of the list.

Keep an eye on the first post of this thread as new products are being added which obviously will shift around the results.

The dilution rate of seasol (or any other product) is also up for discussion, as this would affect the results. If you feel the dilution rate is too much or too little to bring it into line with the other products then let your voice be heard and if everyone comes to the same conclusion as you i will edit the results.

Seasol works as good if not better than Canna Rhizotonic....I did a comparsion grow a while back.

Seasol at Bunnings is $33 for 4 Liters....That's 0.825 Cents per ML.....@ 3ml per liter total cost is 2.5 Cents per Liter of Nutrient

.

And you don't have to go to a Hydro Store to get it.

Ok, here Bento, here's the details for Great White.....as ya can see , depending on how ya use it, the rate varies.

But, in hydro 5g for 38L .....so from a 500g = 3800L...... the math was right when I told ya about it the first time.

Then it gets tricky for Soil and Mediums......dosage goes by pot size, and the base rate is 5g per 7L.

Peace. Nibbler.

Yeah because i changed the rules of the testing to try to keep things fair from using 1L of solution to using the size container that works out closest to making 1000L of solution i need to change the results for Seasol and use a larger container which will bring the price per ml down.

Nibbler, ill double check white shark, because i changed the rules to keep things fair i have to base the price from the smallest 150g bottle container. Otherwise it would be similar to comparing a 1L price of nute from canna compared to a 5L price of advanced nutrients, of course the 5L price will nearly always win.

150g / 5g dosages = 30 dosages

30 dosages x 38L per dosage = 1140L of solution in a bottle of 150grams

6000cents / 1140 Litres of solution = 5.26c per L of solution

Thanks for posting the back of the bottle btw that helps :)
