yeh off ya tree, u can buy poppers from there. yeh u can sell complete bongs is what I heard. I just asked the guy in the queens street mall in Qld what I wanted n he pulled out all the different c.p and shit n showed me the best ones. Its kinda expensive but the buy there is supa helpfull so I go there. And fuck those methpipes right off. trust me dont go there.

my mate made tha best bong out...he used a glass SMIRNOIFF (vodka) bottle n used tourch thing to blow out the holes then just used hose n a cose piece...it was sooooo smooooth it was heaps GEEWD!!! i wanna make 1

when making your homemade and using a hose for the stem, just leave it in boiling hot water for 4-5 minutes then put it through a hole half the diameter of the stem, its completely air tight and the rip feels slightly more like a commercial bong.

Wanted to see what a Bubbler was like, so I made one a few nights ago. Complete with a shottie too. Not bad for a first timers attempt at making a bubbler, I sealed it with hot glue.

Just perusing this thread , and I gotta say , there are some weird replies here . Fancy worrying about some chemicals etc from a aluminium can , when you are putting smoke into your lungs . What we do is SMOKE Pot and ANY smoke will fuck your lungs !

And that "Bubbler" , is no different to a normal bong .

There are different chemicals in smoke from different things CG and some will do more damage than others. I haven't done the research but I'm pretty sure the lacquer in a soft drink can will do more damage than mj.

 

Thats not to say I've never used soft drink cans, just that I try to avoid them.

Absolutely nothing in this thread for me... some of the replies shoulda been trashed really, how many times was tinfoil mentioned...? cones cost $2.

 

What I did get out of it was a few good memories though, look at some of the posters in there- White cluster, Black beauty, Wilderbud... even Weekprick still had a post in there...

I've never ever in my entire life seen anyone put a cone in a homemade bong. We use a hose and nut, although people have stopped using nuts and using the peices from socket sets, whack it in a hose put it in a bottle use a small ammount of baccy instead of a gauze because gauses get clogged with resin, especially if you're smokin rock. Sprinkle in your weed and smoke away.

You guys in Wales sound like fucking hillbillies, no offence. I've been using proper cone pieces since I was at least 16, fuck using alfoil or a coke can as there's enough toxic shit going into your system already. In my opinion, the best bong you can possibly make yourself is a springer, and even then you need to buy a couple of ready made parts (the cone is necessary, but you could use garden hose instead of a 18cm stem if you wanted to).

 

Buy a 375ml spring valley bottle (glass), 18cm stem and thimble cone, and half a metre of 40mm clear vinyl tubing (they have it at hardware stores and aquariums, should only cost about $5 but make sure you get the 40mm).

 

Put some water on to boil. While it's boiling, cut your clear vinyl tube to the desired height (around 30cm would be the max). Then when the water is boiling hot, stick one end of the vinyl pipe in and leave it there a min. The heat will soften the tubing and make it more bendy and malleable. Now using a tea towel (so you dont burn yourself) grab one end of the pipe and fold it outwards. You now have a smooth mouthpiece. Cut a slit (or hole) into the vinyl pipe so that the stem fit in airtight, and away you go.

 

You've just made a killer bong for about $15 (less if you already have the cone and stem) and for the brevity, simplicity and pulling action it performs better than a LOT of bongs you can buy at a store. It's also piss easy to clean as completely comes apart, when you think the glassware has seen it's day you just buy another juice bottle
