tell swing that there is a long history of products being sold to the general public that are bad for our health. The fact that a company is selling a product is not proof that it isn't harmful! especially products used for illegal purposes and therefore there would be limited research on the specific application.

g'day; swing..oops, jack...i heard about silica from hydro shop, apparently it is slow and long time in showing problems to health.

banned for use on grapes in hunter valley region (cant confirm as fact).

i would still check as much info as possible before using any additive.

have one plant sprayed and one plant without sprayed...

 

I am not talking about the presentation of the buds....

 

Are they same "high/stone"????

 

If they are, I wont bother buying them, I mean all weed look same in a mulled pot bowl.

Have you guys tried superbud?...costs a lot but is added at the beginning of heading and stops vegetative growth and results in the most solid buds most people have ever seen. Tis used in conjunction with your normal nutrients....

Swing has grown with diamond nector additive and without the additive. In all honest opinion the buds were a little stronger and lot more sticky with the foliar spray , but were you really saw the results is when you made bubble hash from the leaves - there was about five times the amount of end product then when I didnt use it! The bubble hash was without dought the strongest ive ever smoked. It sort of made smoking buds a bit boring.

I dont know if you know this or not but silica is in just about all of the top hydroponic broad spectrum 1,2 or 3 part nutrient concentrate anyway, only the really cheap nutrients dont have them, and swing wouldnt bother growing with them

 

The only way to avoid it would to be just use organic nutrients, but you seen to not like them also.

g'day; superbud2000 can be used from veg thru to harvest as additive, it does not stop vegetative growth when i used it. i think it cost me about $15 for 250ml bottle.

it does improve yield noticeably.

My nutrients don't list silica, and there's no way anyone's going to convince me that they are not top quality. Swing probably doesn't know about them as they are an Australian product that are sold in what he calls useless Australian hydro shops, swing needs to have a re-think about that.
