ZYME super concentrate by xtreme

hey all,

at the shop the other day the kind proprieter threw in some ZYME

it says contains 32 different forms of enzym.

directions:1/2 gram to 50 ltr of nutes..

 

i didnt catch the spiel from him

but i do remember him saying its best used only for flushing..

 

is or has anyone used this product and can give me the mail on it..

 

is it just another additive?? something to complicate things ???

or is it a sort of thing u need in system?

Enzymes are generally used for promoting roots. Its good stuff normally but be careful it doesnt block things like drains and drippers.

 

Xtreme is a good brand also, I used their nutes alot.

yeah i like the xtreme range as its so simple

and the have fulvic and humic acids in them

for flower just add potash

how simple oh + a+b

 

so if i was using h202

i wouldnt use the zyme?

Depends really, but they the H202 kills the enzymes.

Most people use on or the other, But I have heard of others using it on alternating weeks.

i used enzymes years ago when you had to brew them first like beer in a tank with a heater adding sugar...

 

i have recently been using advanced nutrients piranha and tarantula and have had great results, cant wait til they bring their sensizyme out...

 

h2o2 will kill enzymes

 

as for your water tank can you aerate it ie add an airstone? that will make the water last abit longer.. water needs oxygen or it goes 'off'

i also think that some nutrient elements ie nitrogen are heavier then others so perhaps give it a good shake before watering?

 

you can never really have too much air in the water i think. with no aeration atall i would throw it out after 2 days... with aeration maybe keep it a week?

Someone watch the hygro zym its been pulled from the shelves twice after dodgy mix and oily slick in res also blocked my dripps.

 

Does yours smell yeasty? I was told with this product its important to store will in dark cool climate with all air removed from bottle after use, squeese until liquid is about to overflow then screw on the lid. Canna zym is the same price and has no mixing issues. In a small res you may not even have these problems just be aware.

 

Ive been using a bio activator Power active from Nulife to boost friendlies after any bug or root treatments, im unsure about it needs to be kept in the fridge and looks to be organic grows fuzz in the rez apparently normal when mixed with canna nute..

asked someone who had noo idea of what it was and they reckon it smells like seaweed...

 

im gunna go with the canna zyme stuff

as its tried tru and recommended by u

im runnin a 60 ltr res

with cannazym can u tell me the mix rates??
