Any Ideas?

Ok, my plants are now a week into 12/12. They're a good 2ft high, in a recirculating set-up. I have expanded clay in sattelite pots, and I have been root pruning, last time was about a day before I turned them. They are re-vegging from my last crop, so I knew the root system would have to be kept in check. I had 2 drench for scarid fly, so I had to do my tanks last night. Everything was fine before, draining properly. Changed the tanks, mucked around for a bit and then hit the net. Would have been maybe 1/2 an hour later, I went in to check on my other babies. I had a quick look on my way out to see if I could see any of those bloody fungus gnats moving around, and discov…

Ive started 3 seeds (2 weeks apart) in a bucket which has large holes at the base, 2" large flat pebbles, 2" sphagnum moss and is topped-off with 8" 50/50 soil/peat moss. The bucket is in a small cupboard with 6 vertical 4' 38W cool white flouros and has a homemade CO2 maker (aired bottle with water/sugar/yeast) and a container to catch water. So far one plants stem was eaten when it was young so I had to re-root it. Right now 2 plants are 4" and are being trained already and the other milky-green one is a seedling making its first 3 leaves. All 3 seeds were from bag weed but the weed was excellent. My webcam is broken for now (well the Windows part of it is) so…

I was building an Airo system but have decided to try DWC. I have 2 x 50 litre tubs i am wanting to use, I have 4 holes cut with netpots in the lid of 1, I'll keep the second for my control tub. At the moment i have 2 airpumps, Both are the small single outlet type, Dont know size, 1 has pi-3000 written on it. I only have 1 small airstone till i get to the pet shop. I just need to know if i can do 4 plants per tub and get away with using these pumps, Using T connectors and 2 stones per tub/pump, Or should i go a bigger pump and more stones. I'll probably get a third tub for a resi soon also. Any other advice much appreciated, Thanks heaps, Paranoid.

Forcing flowering

I have a 3 month old plant which refused to pre-flower after 2 weeks of 12/12 and being transplanted outside for a week and a bit. Does this mean its probably either male or Sativa-dominant? Ive never seen this happen! Also, would flowering a clone work or do some strains flower only after a set time?

hey guys, is there some kind of consensus as to the best indoor hydro system, or is it all personal preference? also i get the impression that a shower recess may not be so handy as i thought, its a standard 3x3x7f shower, with three enclosed white walls, inside a small ensuite bathroom with a sink. with all the talk of fans etc is this a viable option? ideally i want to grow 4 plants indoors, probly hydro, can i do it in the shower? cheers guys for your help.

hey folks, new to the indoor game and im tryin to research/cost/locate the necessary lighting equiptment. im workin in an enclosed space (shower recess) bout 9 sq feet, about 4-6 plants bout 3-4" high. im tryin to figure out if its worth investing in a HID HPS lamp or just buggerin around with flouros. also, ive got some really well established soil, is it easier to just pot in that or is hydro really all its cracked up to be? bear in mind that i am but a poor uni student, so costs and labour gotta be as low as possible. any advice would be great, cheers guys.

Hey all, How does everyone go from veg to flower? I mean do you just flush then change the nutes from grow to bloom in one day, ie: one day your plants are on say 18 hours light with grow mix in the reservoir then bang, next day all change to 12 / 12 light cycle & bloom nutes in the res? Or do you stagger the process & if so how? Eg You could turn the lights on to 12/12 or whatever a few days before changing the nutes from grow tro bloom formula. Could maybe change the nutes then do the lights a few days after that? Is there a best way to go from flower to bloom? Do different methods produce different effects like more stretching or denser buds? Does anyone know…

Hey guys, I got 2 plants growing and I have one that is ready to be flushed with water for 2 weeks before i harvest but I have another plant that may be a different strain that isnt ready yet. I am using an aeromachine so does anyone have a good idea on how i can flush the ready one with water without interupting the plant that needs a few more weeks? Would it matter to the other plant that it was getting just pure water for like a week and then put back on nuts? Does anyone else flush there plants before harvest?

Hello everyone, I have a bagseed plant growing in coco coir with about 20% perlite. I usually adjust my nutes to 5-6 PH (Can't exactly tell cause only have liquid PH tester that goes up 5, 5.5, 6) She (hopefully) is upto about the 6th node and a foot high and over the last few days the tips of the leaves were going brown and sort of curling up.... Looked around and can't seem to find what it means... It isn't heat stress cause its over the entire plant. I flushed her (please be a her) ph 5.5 water then today I gave her almost full strength DutchMaster Hot CoCo with a bit of superthrive and also FIMed her (Pleaseeeeeeeeeee). The tips are still looking the same tho...…

Can someone with experience tell me if it is worth trying? Is the benefit a shorter cycle, or bigger yield? Can you estimate this as a percentage increase? thanks.

I have read a bit about homemade co2 generators on this site recently, has anyone got any plans to make a good one up, and do they make a difference? My ventillation is good and does not need to be inproved at all. thanks
