I have a shed which I am thinking of putting a grow tent in. Only downside is...no electricity in the shed. Is there a solar grow light? I can put a small panel on the shed roof. This is all small scale. Just need to grow a few plants for personal use

Has anyone tried running the hoses through some like this to keep dwc temps down? I have one of these at work and it will freeze stuff. Has a thermostat to control temps. I was thinking if I removed the door on the top and coiled both the return line and feed line inside the fridgeit should be enough to keep temps down as long as you constantly recirculate. https://www.bcf.com.au/p/engel-14lt-12v-fridge-freezer/295994.html Can get these cheaper if you look around, or get a different brand. This is just an example

After about a year of trial and error (And spending a small fortune), it looks like its finally going to work. A High-pressure Areoponic system that won't clog in the Australian Outback climate. However, the Water pump and Solenoid valve still need their own sound-proof boxes. Something which hasn't been included in the guide yet. The Drums may also need Insulation blankets to keep them from heating up. While its not up and running yet, given the equipment, an Organic-based Reservoir for Aeroponics should be plausible, even in the West Australian (Semi-desert) climate. Please tell me your own experiences with building a High-pressure (5 - 6 bar) Aeroponics system. Has any…

hi my last 2 grows have been ended short due to root rot. I'm running a rdwc setup with a chiller., last time I put 4lt of household bleach in 160lts of water ran for 3hrs soaked for 2hrs before flushing with fresh melbourne tap water., and introduced the chiller to the system. The res temp sits under 20deg. when running. The last run It didn't happen until 4weeks into flower. I monitored the roots regularly as i was a bit weary. new system different lights to normal. ( heaps of circulation, heaps of bubblers )They were white and healthy up to a week ago. I use the professors grow roots as recommended . I was considering also using oxyplus in the future. Could the rot be …

Hey crew apologies if it’s in the wrong section- it said “didn’t have permission” to post in the gardening technology section so threw it here , please move Mods if you can What timers do people use for their feeding pumps ? I’m after a seconds timer as I have an electrical sub board with programmable switches but minimum is a minute and the Bunnings timers are usually increments of 15min on the analogue ones Cheers! Question...... how important is keeping humidity down in flower? The last few days she’s been up around 60-65%........ lights on after a feed it’s around 56%. Good days she’s around 50%..... struggling to keep it down there even with a dehumidifier and good air flow...... but have 2 good fans moving air nicely, and good ventilation, this should keep any rot and crap away..... %%% is mainly up during lights off so not to worried about them feeding through leaves more then roots Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app

hi Im running 1 plant for a 4*4' screen using rdwc in order to minimize my plant nos. The only trouble most of the recommended strains for scrog are indica dominant. Making the vegging time extremely long in order to fill the screens. hydrohybrid on you tube grows this way and his plants appear to be more sativia dominant. og kush I believe is one of his favorites. Considering the laws here in oz in regards to plant numbers others must grow the same way. The strains I have looked at for high yields and high growth rates are critical mass, critical+2. has anyone tried them and do they suit this type of grow? are there any other high yielding top smokes out there that othe…

I usually get the big blue bag of ausperl P500 perlite. I mix with coco but wanting to try either 100% perlite or mix with vermiculite. There is a bag of chillagoe perlite on sale at the shop too. Is this the chunky one people use? From reading, it's better for hydro. Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app
