This is a few days old, I meant to post it sooner. In the weekend Toowoomba newspaper, full page, on the front page was a story about a 12 million dollar drug bust. I wont go into details in the story, but the bust was all marijuana, no other drugs, there were more than 700 immature plants and 15kg of marijuana as well as seeds. They say this is one of the biggest drug busts in Toowoomba history and will put a major dent it the supply of cannabis to the streets in Toowoomba. The artical didn't say how long he might get, but that he would definetly be imprisoned. Ok, no lets flip to page 5, we have a half page artical about how convicted pedophile rapist Rodney Wade…

This little drug went to market July 31, 2008 Syndey Morning Herald online <http://www.smh.com.au/news/health/this-little-drug-went-to-market/2008/07/30/1217097331350.html?page=fullpage#contentSwap1> Diabetic? Shy? Troubled by addiction? People are joining clinical trials, doing it for themselves - and science, writes Leonie Lamont. Sleep deprived for decades, Kate Adams was in no mood to miss out on even a minute's sleep after joining a clinical trial of a new anti-insomnia drug. Every night she would swallow a tablet. Every day she would phone the Woolcock Institute of Medical Research where she keyed in the hours and minutes of sleep she had had, and its …

Marijuana use at all-time low, but girls just as likely to toke Tamara McLean July 30, 2008 12:00am Courier Mail http://www.news.com.au/couriermail/story/0...5003426,00.html RATES of cannabis use are at an all-time low, but a "hard core" of addicts remains - and teenage girls are just as likely to smoke dope as boys. And while men in their 20s and 30s are still more likely to smoke the drug than females, the gender difference has disappeared among teenagers. …

I love the media, they're such a bunch of knobs. http://www.smh.com.au/news/health/dope-smo...7097241179.html "More than a third of people who present at Sydney emergency departments after smoking cannabis are violent and half have mental health problems such as severe anxiety and suicidal thoughts, shattering the image that dope smokers are relaxed and sleepy, researchers have found." Hmm, OK so did the MJ CAUSE those problems or are these folks who have other issues and just happen to use MJ as well? "The data, collected by the National Cannabis Prevention and Information Centre, at the University of NSW, indicates that cannabis users can be as aggressive as cry…

The prohibited equipment will include high-intensity lamps, reflectors and carbon filters used for hydroponic cannabis crops. Laboratory equipment such as condensors, evaporators, heating tools, stirrers, funnels, flasks and filters also will be illegal to possess - unless the owners can provide a legitimate reason for possessing them. Attorney-General Michael Atkinson toda…
