Has anyone watched the documentry on alcohol prohibition in the USA on SBS. It was a good insight on how prohibition started and how it did not affect the flow of alcohol at all. Just filled the gangsters pockets. Another interesting point was that prohibition was not completely finished until the 1950's. Some states kept running prohibition up until this time. So there were 30 odd years of prohibition. Got me thinking about when Nixon started the war on drugs. Has it been over 40 years? Recently discovered the show and rented the first 6 seasons. season 7 isn't out on DVD yet locally and season 8 has just finished on cable in America. Something to look forward to. Found it really entertaining and I don't usually watch soaps. Loved the cliff hanger endings with each season. Hysterical charactors. Did anyone else see the short history of cannabis extra. I forget which season had that. They should make an australian version of that show. tried to write in a previous thead but it was dated back to 2006 or something and closed.

Gday wuz just watching weeds; Silas is at work and realises the destination of his best strain is is a mulch and blender.
