You know there is someone on the other line, when there is heavy breathing and wheezing, it will impair you from communicating effectively with the person you intially intended to speak too.

 

Crackling and pulsating electronic noises are common, but in most instances you will be un aware that your phone is being tapped, when it is being done effectively.

 

Sometimes it is best to assume the police are onto you, even in those instances where they're not.

 

A personal invasion of privacy, clearly.
