MEDICINAL CANNABIS WARNING / DISCLAIMER
There is no pharmacological free lunch in cannabis or any drug. Negative reactions can result. A small percentage of people have negative or allergic reactions to marijuana. Heart patients could have problems, even though cannabis generally relieves stress, dilates the arteries, and in general lowers the diastolic pressure. A small percentage of people get especially high heart rates and anxieties with cannabis. These persons should not use it. Some bronchial asthma sufferers benefit from cannabis; however, for others it may serve as an additional irritant.

Hemp derived CBD vs recreational derived CBD
I’m currently using some industrial hemp-derived oral CBD oil, with mixed results. The stuff is nice enough, works well when used on its own, but it seems to fight with any THC that is subsequently taken. It leaves u with a f**ked up Frankenstein kind of stone which is not satisfying at all. It also has a (less prominent) negative interaction with benzos and opiates. I have no doubts that this is a result of CBD blocking the pleasure/reward/dopamine receptors, which I have read about. So as I kind of expected, you can’t trick ur body into thinking u’ve been taking a strain with a balanced ratio of thc:cbd. The 1:1 stuff I was previously taking was completely seamless, t…

Trigger pulled x 2
So, I have been asking the question as of late - if THC kills cancer cells and your best mate and his partner were to be given 6 months to live, does law even matter? Because this past week that is what has happened. One my best mates, his partner now some 6 months ago was found to have a tumor in her brain - they cut out what they could and have had her on chemo since. She approached me recently saying she was over it and wanted to try Cannabis. So while giving what I had over and explaining that we needed to wake up the cannabinoid system inside her before giving her oil pills, my best mate was telling me about some lower back pain he had been having. In the l…

Prostate cancer
Hi all. Just joined and hoping someone can advise. I am 67 and recently diagnosed with prostate cancer. I am looking at making RSO. I want to grow my own product outside so, any suggestions for something suitable for this with high THC and can be grown outside in Victoria. I am also looking at using 190 proof alcohol in place of ISO and, using one of the distillers such as the green oil machine. Any advice would be much appreciated as new to all this at my age but, I would like to continue living and keep my prostate. Thanks guys, great community here. Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app

Borderline Personality Disorder + personal grow
I've been diagnosed originally with Bipolar 2, but this has since been changed to borderline personality disorder. I'm growing Jack Herer (sativa dominant hybrid) and Amnesia Haze (indicta dominant hybrid). It seems the prevailing wisdom is that an early harvest sativa is good for this condition during the day, but when you can't sleep at night, a late harvest indicta, higher in CBD (amber trichromes) is a good fit. Does anyone have any other strains to suggest? I've heard girl scout cookies and laughing buddah are a good match as well to bring you out of a depressive funk.

September is prosate cancer awareness month
Its a little late but its never to late if it helps even just one person. One in five qlders will be diagnosed with prostate cancer by the age of 85.our dads, brothers, grandfather's,partners and friends are at risk. Prostate cancer is the leading cause of cancer among men in qld with around 4000 men diagnosed each year on average. September is prostate cancer awareness month and im urging men to help raise awareness of the disease and better understand there risk to help detect it early. While the five year survival rates for prostate cancer are drastically improving and are at 94%,up from 64% in the 1980,s there still no time for complacency. The cause of prostate cance…

1st grow in 22 years
Hi all, how times have changed. In short I'm back in the game after a long stint off the gear which caused long term paranoia and anxiety. Have just germinated 4 high CBD low thc seeds in jiffy pots and am about to transplant into 19 ltr fabric pots under 315 lec cmh 18/6 schedule. Using 70/30 Coco perlite medium and got hy-gen single part nutrient and budlink. The strain is rqs fast eddy auto fem. Probably not the best choice but I am very sensitive to thc so went for a low strain 10% thc. Hopefully I won't make too many stuff ups. Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app

Medical Marijuana...does it exist in Melbourne, other cities or region
As someone who was recently tasked with obtaining Medical, or at least close to MGM, it has become increasingly obvious there is little available beyond overpriced cannabis oil. The cash before quality mindset of current local growers has lead to a situation where trust and confidence are totally absent. Obscure, unnecessary 'strains' are being touted, yet the product is all so similar in its low quality. Where are the crystals? At any one time, there are a few hundred sellers on Craig's List, trying to flog their bush weed. Is this happening elsewhere in Aussie? Curious to know..

Treating Autism with CBD THC
My 8yo son suffers from severe non-verbal autism (related sleep issues, aggression, constant verbal stimming etc). I've tried him on two different strengths of CBD with no noticeable changes. He is currently taking Risperdone and I'm concerned about the side affects using it long term. I also think it's not working as well as it used to. He has been very out of sorts the past few weeks. Has anyone had success with CBD THC in treating autism in a child?
