Big industry..... But it is okay, the plant was destined to reforge the strong relationship we have had with it for time immemorial.....

1925 Geneva International Convention on Narcotics Control

Blame the Egypt and turkey for it, they proposed Indian hemp join opium and cocaine on the list

"Chronic Hashism" was blamed for causing most of the insanity in Egypt

1968 Wooton commission on cannabis, decided that long term use in moderate doses has no harmful effects

The British government in response upped all the penalty's for cannabis in the new Misuse of drugs act 1971.

The British elite have always been drug fiends and drug traffickers , the rest of us go to jail for using

 

Just replace British with Australia and you get the idea
