Some help please?

Goldberry

Question

Hi Guys...

Hi, my mum Is using 1 gramcold infused in hempseed oil and she is taking the max 10 drops daily. But it isn't really doing anything for her pain. She has severe osteoarthritis. Is it something that takes time to build up or should she be trying something stronger? The hot tincture for example...She doesn't want to feel stoned though. Also my my dad has Parkinson's.. what do you suggest for him to try.. he is trying the same as my mum and he thinks he feels a little brighter.. but your suggestions would be wonderful thank you

Sorry I should've explained better. It's a cold tincture of 1 gram of cannibis oil of thc-a and cbd-a infused into hempseed oil. im assuming hot tincture would be better 1gm of cannibis oil infused in 5ml of alcohol (thc and cbd) but will it get her stoned.. she doesn't want that

do not heat the product

heating the oil will turn the unactivated THC-a to an activated THC(and will get them 'stoned')

changing the product to a tincture will only alter the amount of THC-A and CBD per drop

If either are willing, you may want to increase the dose -  double their dose till they feel relief

there is a possibility your product has nothing but hemp oil in it (anything is possible)

So update.. she used up the whole bottle but to no relief! She ended tripling the dose! Now on day 2 of a hot tincture.. 2 drops. Nothing as yet. She will try 3 tomorrow. In my research I find a lot of info on cbd oil being more beneficial for pain relief.. anyone have experiences with this?

Cheers

Both work but it depends what you are trying to achieve   this might help

I would use Indica based thc personally ...but mum will be pretty zonked ....but definately get relief ...and maybe a supplement with cbd

let her get used to it first .

Happy Daze mum ;)

I would make oil from one of these

Let’s take a look at the top 3 strains of weed for pain.

Go the Acca

1.     ACDC

http://www.medicinalorganic.com/seeds/ac_dc_seeds.htm

If doctors have to choose one strain that is the most effective at helping a patient with pain, it is definitely ACDC. This strain has high amounts of both THC and CBD. A hybrid, this strain will provide the user with:

  • Relaxation
  • Intense focus
  • Slight energy increase
  • Slight your euphoric feeling
  • Happiness

You won’t become a couch potato after taking this strain, but you also won’t have the immense uplifting effect of a sativa-dominant strain either.

2.     Blackberry Kush

Anyone that is having severe pain should seek a strain of marijuana that is high in THC. Sometimes, you want to take your mind off of the pain and simply numb the body. This is exactly what Blackberry Kush provides to you.

You’ll feel:

  • Lazy and relaxed
  • A euphoric high
  • Sleepy
  • Happy
  • Creative

You definitely don’t want to take Blackberry Kush if you have to go to work or school, but you do want to take it if you have severe pain.

3.     Harlequin

Harlequin is the ideal strain of marijuana if you have an injury or disease that causes inflammation. A good example of this is arthritis. What makes this strain so special is that as a high CBD content.

You’ll notice an immediate euphoric a feeling, while also being focused and uplifted.

Euphoria will come over you, and you’ll have a clear mind that allows you to stay focused. I would recommend this strain of marijuana for anyone who has school, work or needs to stay focused for any reason.

just bringing up the probability of you having a hemp oil - since there has been zero improvement

:(

Thanks so much.. i think i will look into these seeds and start researching about growing and making, do not particularly want to go down this route but it seems to be the only option at the moment.

god I hope that is not the case.. i did get it from probably the most reputable place available :\

she's taking 3 drops of the thc (uncle pete's) oil today so she will let me know if she feels anything.
