Has anyone watched the documentry on alcohol prohibition in the USA on SBS. It was a good insight on how prohibition started and how it did not affect the flow of alcohol at all. Just filled the gangsters pockets. Another interesting point was that prohibition was not completely finished until the 1950's. Some states kept running prohibition up until this time. So there were 30 odd years of prohibition. Got me thinking about when Nixon started the war on drugs. Has it been over 40 years? Any way the good news is that the US has started to wake up, even if it is only at a state level. The snow ball hopefully will start rolling along and get bigger on it's path to…

Recently discovered the show and rented the first 6 seasons. season 7 isn't out on DVD yet locally and season 8 has just finished on cable in America. Something to look forward to. Found it really entertaining and I don't usually watch soaps. Loved the cliff hanger endings with each season. Hysterical charactors. Did anyone else see the short history of cannabis extra. I forget which season had that. They should make an australian version of that show. tried to write in a previous thead but it was dated back to 2006 or something and closed.

hey there noticed on sunrise website More phone tap warrants were granted in Australia from 2010-11 than in all of the US. Is this something we should be worried about? Hi all, I have some potentially exciting news. My web question to Q&A was short-listed for possible inclusion on the show tonight (Mon 15th - 9:35pm ABC1). They asked me to record my question as a video and resubmit it, which I have done. I'm terrified of cameras so this was a bit of a challenge for me! Gday wuz just watching weeds; Silas is at work and realises the destination of his best strain is is a mulch and blender. Silas stumbles into the pill press room and in about 15 seconds they teach the audience how to press a pill ... happy veiwing customers- yup it's that easy HOWEVER. and this is a big however... if you are even caught with a pill press, they will bend you over a F**K you will a pinapple. Let alone operating one and producing a pill that you arent qualified to make. Thats a biggy. The Phamasits DONT like anyone cutting in on their action; and they have the govt's vested interest. Hi, Did not know where to post but is anyone else going to the live show? My love affair began with "tom goes to the mayor" and I followed them to awesome show great job.For those of your who don't know them, and really I'm dealings with a group called stoners so I expect many of you know them check them out.
