Hi, After a week on 12/12, I can see the starts of some flowers but still waiting for a pistil to show? Surely after a week there should be at least 1? They don't appear to be stunted because they are still growing - just not flowering... Could it be a light leaking issue? - they are in a tent which I believe is pretty secure, but I can't see inside when the lights are off. Nutrient issue? - I would be surprised as the are grown in soil and look healthy. Crap genetics? - they are just bag seeds that I thought I would give a shot, I started growing them as an interest mainly. Any ideas?

Hey guys First time grower, 2 Northern Lights plants, I germinated the seeds and planted in soil pots almost 3 weeks ago. Kept them growing outside for almost 2 weeks, seemed to grow well; slow, but well. Left them outside during the day and brought them inside at night in case it got a little cold for them. Now have put them inside into a homemade computer case growing box which they've been in for a week now. The case is a standard computer tower which I've lined with black plastic and spray painted matte white on the inside. Air flow is via 2x 120mm 12v computer fans. Lights at the moment are 2x 23w warm white CFLs hanging close to the seedlings. Case is fully encl…

This morning I threw in a bowl: black pepper , 2 kinds of hot sauce, curry powder and some biodegradable dishwashing liquid. I poured boiling water over the ingredients whisked for a while, let cool and filtered through a tea towel , I then poured the concoction into a spray bottle and added a little extra water then I sprayed all the plants in the hps closet tops and bottoms of leaves and all the thrips I could see the detergent worked well helping it stick to the leaves a little, so far 0% visible damage to plants and I havnt seen a thrip on them since the thrips I directly sprayed are dead. Ill let ya's know how it goes plant wise. Ingredients. Sprayed auto gir…

OK, so I'm doing a one plant SCROG 4 x 600w HPS So today was a growth management day, pushing all the growth under my SCROG net, ( HINT: NEVER weave the growth thru the netting, it makes it a bastard come harvest) It looks really shitty at the moment but by next week all that growth will have turned towards the light and again stretched up growing towards the light. The other day I went into the room and saw a few white fly so I put up sticky strips to catch the little bastards. I hadn't actually been in the room since. Today I again entered the room and was meet with a cloud of white flies, they had multiplied........ohhh shit bugger damn. There was at least 100 o…

Hey Guys These seeds are about 12-13 days since they first sprouted, and recently growth seems to have stopped. They were germinated in tissue paper, then planted in jiffy peat pellets, then once roots were beginnign to poke out, I removed the netting and transferred into a mix of worm castings, compost, perlite, peat and high quality organic potting mix. One of the plants is quite green, but the other is looking a bit limey, and yellow. Is this a sign of N deficiency or is it too early on? The taller plant seems ok, but that was actually planted after the shorter one. Any reason why my growth seems slow? Thanks for any help Cheers

I thought I better add to the heads up I got at this forum and then confirmed at a shop; indirectly. There may be a problem with a batch on Son-T agro bulbs, best to saty away from that one for a while. Phoning in a complaint might not be a good idea. The one thats in there atm is running well. I dont want to think how long the Son-T was miss firing for. I hope I cought itnat 3 days disturbed light pattern, with 2 weeks for the VK and maybe 3-4 for the OG. Not sure now tho ... wait and see. I got annual leaf comming up harvest time again gunna take a cuppla weeks mid October. See what we are playing with this time around.

Moved from window sill where they germinated and grew for about two weeks into a new cupboard under a 600watt HID 9 days ago. Not sure if they are just in shock due to being moved into 18/6 or it's a nute problem. They're in soil, been fert once a week with 2ml / L of seasol and 2ml / L of power feed mixes. PH of the run off is 6.2 Haven't been over watering, watering only when the soil is dry 3cm down. Any suggestions?
